Now I'm stuck assuming the contract ***, the wife and husband had no idea what they were signing when reps from this *** company appeared at their doorTheir fees rise each year, but I'm sure they made a point to tell that to the elderly couple, right? Sure
*** A copy of the contract they ask you to sign at their door has in big bold letters FREE INSTALLATION and a box for Installation fee which they conveniently waive.I will NEVER recommend this company to anybody and suggest you do the same to any loved ones, family, and friends

I was told by [redacted] that someone was coming to my house to do a final reading of my new home I just moved into. On the same day this guy came to my door telling me he is from Ontario Home Services contracted by [redacted], he is here to inspect the furnace and do a final reading. He came in checked my furnance and told me my furnace is more then 10 years old and it can be replaced for free for 50$ a month rental. I'm new home owner I assumed [redacted] knew what they were doing. Two days later a brand new furnace comes in and put in. When I contacted my home inspector and told him why didn't he include that in my home report that it was old he said my furnace is brand new and only 3 years old and asked me the company name. Boom this company are scammers. I called [redacted] they told me no one comes into the house only for readings this person was NOT a [redacted] representative. These guys stole my 3 year old furnace and slammed me into a new one. I called the fraud department at my lov police department, the minister of consumers for Ontario and the ombunsman of Ontario to report these guys. They faleslet represented them sleves [redacted]. When I finally got a hold of Crystal from this company she tried to play the game of I signed a contract thinking that I'm not familiar with the law and got information already and when I informed her of everything I have done and whom I contacted including the police department and minister and media they recanted and apologized and said I can cancel the contract and they will return my old furnace. [redacted] Never let anyone in your house unless you specifically called them. These guys knew I just moved in to the house and knew that [redacted] was coming in to do a reading and used that to gain access. [redacted]
