OnTime was great to move our office material. Quick and professional. Will use again!

They underbid the scope of my move. They were advised that there was delicate antique furniture that had to be carefully wrapped and handled, but numerous valuable pieces were damaged. They refused to honour the insurance on the items as they had a 'time frame' for filing a complaint and I missed it ***. Two of the moving crew were completely inexperienced and overwhelmed and the other two men were too old and unfit to be of significant help. A move that should have taken one day and a cost that reflected one day's work turned into a two day move and then they had the audacity to charge me extra for their inefficiency. Never, never use this company!!!

We had some change in plans from our original request and they were very accommodating. Also our office freight elevators were not ready for us when the movers arrived, but Larry and Rocko did their best to unload everything and wait patiently. It was unfortunate that they had to wait almost two hour, but there were no complaints from these two guys. They were both very efficient and helpful.

A very disgraceful and do not respect verbal agreements to fix damaged items that were damaged by the moving company, They use to small of trucks and leave belongings behind saying oh well not our problem. Do not believe the good ratings on Revdex.com do not use this company.... my case has now been sent to the media to get help from them

Hello and thank you for reaching out to us regarding your matte through the Revdex.com. It's a great site ensuring customers are properly looked after.

After looking closely at the pictures that were sent to us we were extremely happy to see that the mountain bike was completely taped off before being transported. This was very smart of you and we appreciate the time and care you took in preparing your item before transport to prevent anything from happening to it. With respect to the scratch on the back of the frame, indeed we could see it was scratched through the tape, indicating we definately scratched it. We apologize for scratching it, it certainly was not our intent in any way. It was difficult from the other pictures to see what other marks you were referring to. We noticed however they were in some places where things were taped off. With nothing coming through the tape like the obvious scratch at the back off the frame, it was tough to see how they were done. We absolutely need to repair this though.

We are unsure of the belongings left behind and not having enough truck and saying oh well not our problem. We could not operate in such a way. Its to avoid such scenarios that we offer free in home estimates. They are to protect both of us from any surprises on move day. We are happy we moved you to Vancouver Island.

Indeed this needs to get fixed. We passed the pictures on to a professional repair company that we deal with and they indicated they would sand down the roughly 1 inch scratch, and colour match the paint. Unfortunately, to scrape the entire frame, take it to a body shop and repaint it, then to re-decal the bike to original is not a realistic solution. Much like ICBC is not able to buy someone a new car in the case of a mark on a bumper, we are not able to replace the entire bike either. The economics simply does not allow for this. We scratched the bike and we've offered to have it repaired and we stand buy this since the moment the incident occurred. The professional repair company we work with quoted us $80 and they mentioned it would take less than an hour to repair. It was for this reason alone we offered you this in the event you wanted to have it repaired yourselves for similar or simply take the cash for the inconvenience. In no way were we trying to offend you. Your other option of $1000 was equally as unreasonable as stripping the entire bike and having it repainted and re-decaled.

We also showed them of the wooden wheel on the trolley cart that needed glueing and a clamp to let it settle. Again, we are extremely apologetic for this happening. It should be noted that fixing this, based on the photos we forwarded to them, was also included in their quote to us.

Once again, we apologize for scratching your mountain bike. We have offered to come to Vancouver Island and pick it up, have the two items fixed, and delivered back to your home. We're unsure why you feel as though we would never return your items. With such unethical business practices, the Revdex.com simply not allow us to be members and rightfully so! We would ensure the police would get involved with such matters absolutely. We are proud of our A+ rating on the Revdex.com. We do thousands of moves a year, we have a physical location with over 100 containers, and a full time staff of over 20. Unfortunately things do sometimes get damaged while in transport and we have never shied away from making it right. Nor would we to you either.

We absolutely agree the scratch on your mountain bike needs to be fixed, as does the wheel on the cart that needs to glued.

We have offered to come out to the island to pick these itms up and have them professionally repaired at our cost. Replacing the mountain bike with a brand new one is not being reasonable in this instance. If you are not satisfied with us coming out to pick up these items, professionally fix them for you, and deliver them, we can extend you an offer in good faith for $175.

Once again, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or hardship we may have caused. It was never our intent and to say that these things happen in the course of a move is no excuse. We must be better. We will address these matters internally so we do not have similar events occur to our customers in the future and are trying to deal with the matter at hand in the interm.

We would like this opportunity to make it right for you and once again appreciate you reaching out to us with respect to your concerns, ensuring they are dealt with accordingly through the Revdex.com.

Please feel free to notify us of your decision and we wish you many great memories in your beautiful new home.

Warmest regards,
Onetime Moving & Storage

As stated. There are several scratches on the bike frame and forks ig was a brand new bicycle was in prestine condition before the move with on time moving and storage did nothing to protect the bicycle further more. The paint is not a "normal paint " its a special metallic mat coat and as stated it can not be "spotted " in. And match original paint. I know several lower mainland body shops they qoute. 500. Just to strip the paint repaint it and forks. Re decal it. Plus labour involved in preparing the frame and re decaling it. Then having the cost of disassembly and reassemble. The bicycle brings the costs involved too over $975. NOT 175! It was damaged by on time moving storeage. and the should hold there agreement by general manager Joe J of agreeing to pay $975. For this damage. It was 2weeks old day of the move no markes scratches on it till this move there dolly was jamed right against the bike I told the packers to carefully wrap the bicycle up that' was partially wrapped with stuff I had. IT WAS NOT!!!! Just thrown on the truck *** the bicycle took me alot of time to save up money to but it now its damaged I don't want to ride it because im so digusted and stressed over this situation ***. Then being told the other damages caused by there move dose not exist. Cause can't see it in pictures which were clear)The tea cart was painted in a special metallic automotive hard to match blue. The tea cart which the movers were told several times that it was a antique handled with care Was never wrapped just thrown on the truck.

No these explanations from On time Moving and storage are disgraceful disgusting dishonourable

I will not give them the bicycle or wheel for fear of them never being returned....in matching how the bicycle looked when it was new. And tea cart wheel the same paint matching the cart. *** To us by on time moving and storage It's totally unprofessional there service.

helloo 175 is not a acceptable amount for repairs its disgraceful and verbal agreements via Joe J are binding agreements like a handshake is... in what world dose 175 cover the amount of damage caused to my bicycle that has a metallic mat paint finish that CAN NOT BE Spotted in or Blended in to other paint plus decal damage and tea cart wheel IT WAS A BRAND NEW BICyCLE IT HAD NOT1 scratch on it day of move then after there are ^chips and scrapes ***

Ontime moving and storage is a horrible horrible company

OnTime Moving Response • Jul 21, 2018

Joe is our moving consultant. He makes no such agreements as it is beyond his scope. He listened to the concerns on moving day and without having seen pictures of the scrape on the bicycle made it noted that it would be rectified and it would be made right. We have offered to have a professional repair company fix the damage. Alternately we have offered to reimburse the cost of the repair $80 plus a good will portion totalling $175 for the scratch in the bicycle. Again, if you'd like us to pick up the bicycle, have it repaired and returned we are happy and willing to do so.

Further more. joe is a general manager and he is responsible for what you're company dose and his words and actions are a direct mirror to the so called "owner ". Very un ethical business practices to say otherwise.
