Ooh La La Salon & Day Spa ll, Inc.

Review: I entered into a "Monthly Facial Contract" with Ooh La La Salon in Rocklin, Ca as my esthetician moved to the salon. My esthetician subsequently opened her own salon closer to my home. I emailed the company on 9/30/13, with my intention of cancelling my membership to give them a 30 day notice. I never received a response so on 10/8/13 I telephoned and spoke with "[redacted]" and she advised me I needed to submit my request in writing. I immediately faxed them a cancellation notice. I was charged for November and that should have been my final payment. It was charged on 11/1/13. I was then again charged on 11/21/13 for $349.95 and only credited $279.96 leaving a balancing owing me of $69.99. I emailed the owner of the company and advised her of the mistake. [redacted], Owner, telephoned me on 12/3/13 and she stated that they clearly made a mistake and since she closed my account, she couldn't refund my VISA and would mail me a check. On 12/24/13, I still hadn't received the refund even though she confirmed with my esthetician she made an error and my esthetician saw the check on the counter to be mailed. I contacted her again via email and in her response she appeared to have completely forgotten about the entire transaction. I emailed her back and asked her to please send my refund or I will contact my VISA and dispute the charge. About 5 hours later, [redacted], called me and said they didn't owe the money after an entire investigation and documentation clearly shows that I am owed $69.99.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a checked mailed to me immediately.
