Review: I went to the spa with my sister for pedicures. I have gone to this spa for many years and did not recognize the technicians that were attending us. Shortly into the service, my technician began grooming the cuticles of my left toe. She was a bit rough; but I thought that was her style. When she got to the middle toe on my left foot the cut pinched me. I said ouch, and she kept going and ended up cutting off excessive skin causing me to bleed and to have a burning sensation. She did not inform anyone. The technician next to her noticed and heard by cry. I told her I was unsure if she should was afraid of the approaching pain and of getting an infection. She said it was ok as she sanitized and applied a blue solution to stop the bleeding. I asked for a supervisor or manager and two other technicians came who spoke English a bit better. I told them what happened and they pretty much said the same thing. None of them called a manager or wrote an incident report. I told them that they needed to note this incase I get an infection or something. No response. The manager was sitting on the side and towards the end attending a customer. I usually pay with this lady. I received my ticket for receipt and went to pay. The tech. that assisted my sister was going to charge me. I once again asked to speak to a manager. At this point the lady came and I was explaining to her how upset I was and asked why she didn't come. All she said was they were busy. She finally apologized but I told her it was not ok. My foot was still stinging. I am upset because of the lack of care, concern and compassion. I am worried of how sanitized their tools are and need to contact my doctor to see if I need a tetanus shot.I am questioning the certification of the technicians. I returned about an hour later to get the name of the tech. and manager. After much hesitation, tech.'s name is [redacted] and manager refused to give me her name, She said the owner's name is [redacted]. I am afraid because of my early state of pregnancy to get shot.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund and compensation for my pain and suffering. I'd also like for there to be an investigation on the certification of their employees as well as their practice. I hope you can help. Thank you.This happened 1/11/14 at about 5:00 PM.

I am rejecting this response because:

I am appalled at the fact that the business and employees will not take responsibility for their negligence and lack of care and concern. I suffered from this injury . Obviously the manager who said she was not the manager the second time I went to the business to collect names, knows that I have been a faithful customer for years and have never discriminated as to what technician services me. In fact, most of the time I am helped by an older woman and have had no problems with her. Additionally, I am disgusted at the fact that they are trying to blame me for the error the technician bestowed upon me. It is terrible that they cannot accept their mistake. They showed no care or concern until the second time I demanded to speak to a manager.. I insist on my first complaint and urge the Better Bussiness Bureau to conduct a an investigation to verify all technicians are certified.
