The pine wood interior stain was very blotchy and inconsistent/non-uniformComplaints to the company after the installation was complete were answered as follows "Adding stain to bare or stripped wood can both change the color and highlight the grain pattern of any interior woodSince wood is a product of nature, it can vary from tree to tree, even in the same wood speciesWindows are build using many different wood profiles and it is highly possible they are build from few different treesUnfortunately there is nothing we can do to change this apperance and also there is nothing we can do to our process to change it." It was apparent to me their product utilizes inferior woodThey provided no useful feedback on how to rectify the issue

We just completed installation of new windows throughout our home. We contracted with Opal Enterprises after obtaining quotes and meeting with several different independent and private installers. My approach with Opal was to visit their office first because we were tired of the song and dance approach that many of their competitors used when they insisted on coming to our home. I found Opal to be professional, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient from the folks that met me at the door to the installers who completed the work. In particular, the salesman who provided the initial estimate, the Project Manager and the Crew Leader were extremely easy and knowledgeable to work with. The concern I had when we expressed some dissatisfaction with some fine detailing upon completion was quickly and professionally handled by the Opal team and they worked in earnest to assure that we were completely satisfied. We put this project off for a number of years but the delay paid off in our selection of Opal. We will consider Opal for the roofing project that needs to get done in the next couple of years and I highly recommend using this company and their team for similar home improvement projects.

[redacted]'s windows were installed in January of 2013.
[redacted] called our office in May of 2013 asking us to please come...

pick up our job sign (we combed our phone records for a prior call and unfortunately could not find a call or a message left from her at all.) In May of 2013 we picked up our yard/job sign and she did not report to us then that she was having problems operating her Andersen Casement windows. It is likely [redacted] called, unfortunately the one call was missed, but without malicious intent by our office.
[redacted] called Opal's office on Wednesday X-XX-XX at 2:00 and spoke to [redacted]. [redacted] described her issues as "some denting of the screens and wood of the windows" because the removable, folding casement handles were "banging" them and she was concerned about a possible "recall" with the window hardware. [redacted] was offered the owner of Opal Enterprises on Monday X-XX-XX at 11:30 am so he could come inspect the issue and help with understanding her windows better. (All homeowners are given a manual on their new windows on how to use and maintain the window handles). The folding, removable handles are designed to come loose.
On Thursday 9-25-14 [redacted] created a Revdex.com complaint prior to her service appointment for Monday X-XX-XX at 11:30.
[redacted] did go out to the home at the pre-arranged service time and got to understand the window concern the homeowner has experienced. In effort to provide good support of the Andersen window brand, Opal has agreed to replace; free of charge, the requested screens and hardware. These have already been ordered and will be offered to the homeowner immediately upon receipt.

Our experience with Opal was good from start to finish. Eli, the sales rep was very attentive, prompt to answer our questions, and helpful with the options we had to chose from. The install work was done professionally. Any issues were promptly addressed, and everyone involved displayed a desire to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction.

Excellent service!
From the moment we've begun selecting our front door, the staff at Opal Enterprises has been in constant communication with us about the time line, expectations, preparation and finally the install. We've consulted with 2 other Companies about the exact same door and Opal Enterprises had gone above and beyond to earn our business.
Eli, the Salesperson was fantastic at answering all of our questions (several times), and the installation crew was very professional and knowledgeable.

Opal just installed our first batch of windows and we love them! Affordable and great quality. The crew was fast and professional. My son's room temperature has noticbly increased now that the old drafty windows are gone. We will be calling opal again when we do the windows on our first level.

Opal roofed our house and we are quite pleased. We gathered quotes from four companies, but only Ryan from Opal correctly identified all the issues caused by our prior roofing system. Opal communicated well before, during, and after the process and addressed questions and concerns promptly during our project, at one point tearing off a newly completed roof section to redo to comply with a contract requirement the project manager had not been informed of. Opal replaced three skylights and added a solar tube sunlight to a bathroom for us, put it an optimal number of baffles in the attic, and put ridge venting onto our roof. All interior work was finished completely at no extra cost and outside clean up was excellent--we found only one nail they missed. Additionally, we liked that we could pay by credit card without the 3% additional "convenience fee" that other companies wanted to charge. The GAF roofing system comes with a 25 year workmanship and 50 year materials warranty, with the warranty fully transferable one-time at no fee. I highly recommend this company.
