I am rejecting this response because: The shop is nottelling the truth about working things outOver the phone, shop owner hadpromised to issue the refund, but *** changed his mind when I presented with allthe repair receiptRight there, it's in integrity problem for not keeping your words I was not presented violentlyin the lobbyI had bad experiences with mechanics shop not to this point, I recorded theconversation as a proof(*** said: no refund will be giving out)Get ready Open Road Automotive, you’ll behearing from the Office of the Attorney General

On 12/13/2014, I took the vehicle to Open Road Automotive and was billed $ for parts & labor to replace valve cover gasket. Also there was noise coming from power steering, highly noticeable when making a right or left turn, I was charged $for alignment for that, both issue did not did resolved.I ended up taking the car to another shop who knows how to treat customer and also fixed the valve cover gasket which I paid Open Road Automotive to replace in the first place.I ended up taking the car to another shop who knows how to treat customer and also fixed the valve cover gasket which I paid Open Road Automotive to replace in the first placeI've asked the shop manager ***'s to work things, but he is being very aggressive, and rudeIn both occasion, I spoke with him over the phone and in person, he is pointing finger at me, stating that "he gave me a chance to bring the car back to them, but I did notThat's on me, deal with it!" Honestly, it was a great opportunity for Open Road Automotive to turn a bad customer experience into customer good experience. I am done doing business with this shop "Open Road Automotive, and off of my recommendation list to friend, and colleaguesI am reporting them to Revdex.com for taking my hardworking money for such a rip off service.” It is unfortunate that automotive shops are often targets of upselling or not repairing a vehicle correctlyMr*** *** ***, has been repeat customer with both of his vehicles for quite some timeWe had been chasing a “noise” on Mr***’s vehicle that our techs have not been able to pinpoint out or hearOpen Road Automotive will not throw parts at a vehicle in hopes for a quick fix, especially for a noise that our techs could not hearAs any shop should know, alignments and power steering do not go hand in hand unless a power steering rack was replacedWhen the customer came in for the complaint, he said his car was now driving straight and that he would not like his money back for that portion since there was no issueWe offered to warranty the valve cover gasket job and asked him to give us a call to schedule it when he had time to bring it inWe were warrantying only one side because the gasket had failed on the front and the rear was fine (rear gasket is the more labor intensive portion due to having to remove the plenum)After a week went by the customer came back in requesting a full refund on his entire billThe total of his bill was for $(If you exclude the $alignment it comes to $395.89) The customer then proceeded to tell us he took his vehicle somewhere else to be repaired, where he spent over $1,for the valve cover gaskets and other repairsWe reminded him that we offered him free repair and if he would just call back and schedule an appointment, but he did notWe responded to the customer letting him know we could not give him a refund since he took the vehicle to another shop for repair and that we would essentially be paying another shop to do something that we offered to him for freeThe customer then began to raise his voice to management and that’s when he was asked to leave the premises and was escorted out of the lobbyThis could have been resolved by refunding labor and half the price of the gasket if the customer’s behavior was not presented violently in the lobby
