Opera House Saloon Reviews (3)

UPDATE: Since I first reported this, the Opera House Saloon now claims that its air conditioning unit is broken and let the bartender take Wednesday nights off Which is fine since they were trying to force this group to purchase alcohol and we don't drink, but they retaliated by turning the air conditioning off while we dance! 1st review- This company loves to change their cover charge and what is included with it at a drop of a hat! You never know what you can expect to have to pay once you arrive with very little or no advertising about the price changesIf you go there just to dance or listen to the music and not drink, you can expect the price to go up the following week 100% to cover paying the bartenderEven though at the time of entry, it was stated that the price increase included a drink, but what type of drink was not definedSo you could expect to be charged extra depending on what you were ordering You were given a token to exchange for a drink, but when I gave them my token for my drink, I was then told I owed an additional $for the drink! Then the following week, the price dropped slightly ($1) from the increased price, but was still higher than the original price, but this timeno drink was included Also important to note that a DJ plays on Wednesday's whereas there is a live band on the weekend's and yet there was no price adjusting on the weekends Customer's bewareThis is just wishy-washy business practice and it should not be allowedWe just went there to have a good time and now the country folk on Wednesday nights are getting the shaft!!!

You were given a token to exchange for a drink, but when I gave them my token for my drink, I was then told I owed an additional $8 for the drink! Then the following week, the price dropped slightly ($1) from the increased price, but was still higher than the original price, but this time... no drink was included. Also important to note that a DJ plays on Wednesday's whereas there is a live band on the weekend's and yet there was no price adjusting on the weekends. Customer's beware. This is just wishy-washy business practice and it should not be allowed. We just went there to have a good time and now the country folk on Wednesday nights are getting the shaft!!!
