Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I am still not happy with this company, they put my health and vision on the line over Because of their error and bad business practices my appointment was cancel out of spike. Then they threaten to turn me in to a collection agency, no business in the health field should play these games with peoples health. Now I have to spend to go to a new Opatholgy and be re-seen and go though the entire accident all over again because of their games and threats. This is bad health care and I want it noted on their file so all can see how they may be treated from this company. We have started a full internet exposure listing and posting everywhere about this problem, on one should be treated like this ever again Regards, [redacted] ***

We pulled *** *** chart and our medical secretary did type in the wrong address. She typed in *** *** ** ***. Mail was not returned to our practice, so we assumed she received multiple bills from us. She was contacted by phone on July 12, at 8:PM and a
message was left on her answering machineShe never returned our message I called *** and we apologized for the typo our medical secretary made when entering her address into our computer. We have resolved this issue. We put a credit on her account for $and we notified our collection agency to remove her and restore her credit report. *** was happy with how this was resolved. *** ** ***

Ophthalmology Associates, S.C., would be more than happy to submit medical bills to more than one insurance company. We filed Mr*** insurance claims to the medical insurance carrier he provided us with on the date of his appointment We have since reached out to Mr*** asking that
he provide us with information on additional carriers so we can forward his medical bills to those additional carriers. We have contacted our collection agency and have asked for them to put his account “ON-HOLD” for now

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Everything that Ophthalmology replied with in their response is a complete lie, it was an accident case where my vision was tarnished and clearly I made that a point with them on the first visit.I gave them both insurance cards when I showed up for that first appointment, Ophthalmology had received payment as I had three appointments over a three month time frameThis company chose to bully me and threaten in to making a payment instead of waiting for the insurance process, They called me seven day before my appointment and told me "No payment no appointment" then they turned me in to a collection agency along with writing me a letter that clearly show unprofessional acts by rubbing my nose in itThe letter is attached. The following is a post that we are posting everywhere on the internet to warn other customers of their horrible acts.Excellent doctors, top notch careBilling department sucks, doesn't care about you or your well beingAn on going treatment from an auto accident, spent a couple of thousand dollars on treatment and went unpaid for days while the two insurance companies figured out which one owed the bill and the billing department goes and cancels my next appointment and states "no payment no treatment " are you for realBilling Department threatens me with collection action and then send me a letter to confirmBut the letter is horrible that she not only turns me in but then rubs my face in it by saying "You will be hearing from them soon" This is how you treat a patient that is suffering for a accident and brain injuryWow, good thing I didn't die their billing department would have pissed on my graveGo somewhere else where the entire staff cares about you.We will be posting the above until this message is flooded on the internet. This company chose to use money as a hostage over my future appointments and put my treatment in harms because they wanted to play a game.

I am still not happy with this company, they put my health and vision on the line over 253.00. Because of their error and bad business practices my appointment was cancel out of spike. Then they threaten to turn me in to a collection agency, no business in the health field should play these games with peoples health. Now I have to spend 1200.00 to go to a new Opatholgy and be re-seen and go though the entire accident all over again because of their games and threats. This is bad health care and I want it noted on their file so all can see how they may be treated from this company. We have started a full internet exposure listing and posting everywhere about this problem, on one should be treated like this ever again.

Review: Excellent doctors, top notch care. Billing department is horrible, doesn't care about you or your well being. An on going treatment from an auto accident, spent a couple of thousand dollars on treatment and 253.31 went unpaid for 60 days while the two insurance companies figured out which one owed the bill and the billing department goes and cancels my next appointment and states "no payment no treatment " are you for real. Now I'm not being treated for my injury because of this balance which one of the two insurance companies will pay in the end. So now they have turned me in to a collection department for no reason other than impatient.Desired Settlement: Collections stop and appointment added back in the books
