Furry Babies is very disappointed any time we have a customer that is dissatisfied, but we feel in this case, the source of dissatisfaction primarily lies with the creditor she chose to use for her purchaseHowever, we accept all types of payments: cash, check or credit card We realize not all of our customers have the means to purchase our puppies outright; so we do offer our customers several different types of financing; including leases, which are not the same as a traditional loan Our staff members are trained to inform our customers of the truth in lending disclosures and are recorded and randomly monitored to ensure that they are doing so properly In addition, we provide a copy of all documents signed electronically and physically while purchasing a puppy Our customers are given every opportunity to read through these documents carefully in order to make an informed decision to use financing to purchase a puppy and opt to do so of their own volition

We are sorry to hear that this puppy did not have a smooth transition into his forever home When this puppy was in our store, he was healthy and gaining weight The paperwork sent from the examining veterinarian indicated that the puppy was fine when it left our store After a review of these records by the veterinarian that regularly sees our puppies and a discussion with the examining veterinarian, it was found that the puppy had suspect aspiration pneumonia and hypoglycemia.Suspect aspiration pneumonia generally occurs from a dog throwing up or swallowing food wrong Hypoglycemia is caused by low blood sugar due to missed meals Our staff is trained to inform their customers about the dangers of hypoglycemia and how to prevent it, there is an informational handout included in all the paperwork provided to our puppies’ forever family and a nutritional supplement called Nutristat is sent home with the puppy with instructions to give it to the puppy times a day for the first days in his new home.Furry Babies also followed up with this puppy’s family to ensure that they saw our veterinarian and paid for the visit as per the warranty Furry Babies honors their warranty and plans to for this puppy, of course The warranty states that any medicine prescribed for anything viral or bacterial within the first days of purchase is paid for by Furry Babies It further states that hypoglycemia is not covered under the warranty All other routine care is still being provided by Furry Babies as outlined under our warranty

I do not accept your response and do not accept what you think you are going to be paying forYou are selling sick dogs and it's NOT okayMy lawyer will be in contact with you shortly about this matter because you are negligent for thisI give your business a F!

We accept all types of payments: cash, check or credit card. We realize not all of our customers have the means to purchase our puppies outright; so we do offer our customers several different types of financing; including leases, which are not the same as a traditional loan. Our
staff members are trained to inform our customers of the truth in lending disclosures and are recorded and randomly monitored to ensure that they are doing so properly. Mr*** was also provided a copy of all documents he signed electronically and physically while purchasing his puppy. Mr*** was given every opportunity to read through these documents carefully in order to make an informed decision to use financing to purchase his puppy and opted to do so of his own volition. The leasing company Mr*** opted to finance his purchase with is also diligent in emailing a copy to our mutual customer and sending them a hard copy by mail. Of course; we are very disappointed any time we have a customer that is dissatisfied, but we feel in this case, the source of Mr***’s dissatisfaction primarily lies with the creditor he chose to use for his purchase

Furry Babies offers multiple finance options to all prospective buyers.  Of course, Furry Babies has no control over which company approves or denies an applicant.  Typically, if a client is approved through MyPet Funding ([redacted]), they will receive a lower monthly payment than the majority of the other borrowers we work with will offer.  Furry Babies, at no point, forces anyone to lease a pet. We do offer multiple other choices for payment.   We do understand that some of these choices are not an option for all of our clients; this is why we offer the financing. That being said, all lending institutions expect to make a profit to lend you money.  Furry Babies did not create the lease nor do we get any percentage of the lease fees; therefore, we have no input on the contents of the document other than the total price of the pet and what type of pet was purchased.  We have no control over what portion of your payment is going to principle versus the lease fee, what is reported to the credit bureaus, or the amount of the buyout fee.  The lease was emailed to you for a signature (i.e. PRIOR to you leaving with your pet), you were read the “truth in lending” disclosure, you were given the opportunity to review the lease before you chose to sign it and you were presented with a hard copy to take home with you.  These are all the tools you needed to make an informed decision before you entered into the agreement with [redacted]. Furry Babies has no control over the tools used by creditors to ensure collection of monies owed.  Management understands that you are dissatisfied in regards to how this is displayed on your credit report.  Management would like to stress that Furry Babies and [redacted] are two entirely separate businesses working together only to offer payment solutions for customers without other means to purchase one of our pets. The management and staff at Furry Babies strive to ensure our customers are well-educated on the financing and puppy decisions they are making.  Our sales team is also very caring and knowledgeable with a passion for finding our puppies permanent and loving homes.   Our customers are screened for pet suitability and educated before any puppy is sent home. We are sorry that you do not feel we have done this for you.

We are sorry that you are upset that Furry Babies cannot cover more of the expense for Finn’s treatment.  Everything that is and is not covered by Furry Babies is outlined in the warranty and other documents signed by each customer PRIOR to leaving with the puppy.  While Furry Babies is sympathetic to the family regarding the expenses incurred for his care, the management MUST adhere to the warranty for each customer.  In earlier correspondence with the family, management did write that Furry Babies would pay for his medical expenses once management was able to speak with the Veterinarian.  This is necessary in order to determine if the expenses are the responsibility of Furry Babies or the pet’s owner.  After speaking with the UW Veterinarian, Furry Babies honored their warranty for this puppy.  The warranty states that any medicine prescribed for anything viral or bacterial within the first 10 days of purchase is paid for by Furry Babies.  It further states that hypoglycemia is not covered under the warranty. A check was mailed along with an explanation to this customer.  All other routine care is still being provided by Furry Babies as outlined under our warranty.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The finance company that responded was not my first or last choice, I was told they were the only one available. The paperwork that was sent to me were the signature pages following the receipt received in the store which indicates that I was supposed to pay $3000.00 for this puppy. I received the actual paperwork later after all this was completed. The CSR at the store also verified that I was paying less that $3500.00 for this puppy. The information is hidden in the paperwork I received later. I think it is convenient that only the signature pages showing the original price of the original receipt were given to me and the actual paperwork showing the real story  showed up a short time I left the store.  My desired outcome has not changed. I am requesting the contract rewrite and the payments adding up to the original amount of $3000.00 be honored as agreed to inside the store that this organization operates. At this time they are hitting my credit knowing this is in dispute.
