Opinion Corporation Reviews (1)

Opinion Corporation, operating as PissedConsumer.com claims that it DOES allow consumers to remove their own posted complaints by following the instructions found at: [redacted]/The procedure involved in removing a complaint is not made clear to an individual at the time that a complaint is created and Opinion Corporation, operating as PissedConsumer.com should honor an individual's request to remove a complaint, as promised.Opinion Corporation, operating as PissedConsumer.com created a webpage regarding our company, in 2012 based on information provided by a woman named [redacted] At the time that [redacted] provided this information, her understanding was that she would be able to remove or edit what she had written. When she tried to do so, she was told by Opinion Corporation, operating as PissedConsumer.com that she could NOT do so.Desired SettlementWe want [redacted] complaint page to be removed, as she attempted to do. It appears at http:/[redacted]We want any reference to our business to be removed from this website by deleting the page that appears at http://[redacted]Business Response PC terms of Service that user agreed to state that you will not be able to edit your review. However, we allow adding details on to it. User needs to create an account during the submission process.Excerpt from our Terms of Service:"By posting information on PC, you understand and agree that the material will not be removed even at your request. You shall remain solely responsible for the content of your postings on PC." Details on PissedConsumer removal policy are well explained in the following Video:http://[redacted]Consumer Response The instructions recently provided to us and the Revdex.com by Opinion Corporation, operating as PissedConsumer.com, state that a consumer IS allowed to remove his or her own posted complaint. The instructions page can be seen at:http://www.pissedconsumer.com/blog/2013/07/how-to-remove-a-complaint-from-pis... These instructions are also explained in a video provided by PissedConsumer.com which can be seen at: https://www.[redacted].com/watch?v=ZToobE7IHjE The 'How to Remove a Complaint from Pissed Consumer' page was published on 7/22/13 and the 'Pissed Consumer tips on how to remove a complaint' video was posted on 7/15/13. It is [redacted]s assertion that she was NOT informed in advance that she would be unable to remove or edit her posting when she created it on 1/19/12. It is also [redacted]s assertion that she was NOT informed that an avenue for removal WAS available to her to have the posting removed when she added on 1/20/12 "I am trying to work this out with the CEO, who contacted me, but am unable to remove my former complaint. PissedConsumer.com should allow consumers to edit their remarks."Within ONE DAY of posting her complaint in January of 2012, [redacted] reached out to Opinion Corporation, operating as PissedConsumer.com, to have the posting removed but it was NOT removed and she was not provided with any instructions on how to have it removed.Opinion Corporation, operating as PissedConsumer.com, created an instructional page and video for users entitled "How to Remove a Complaint from Pissed Consumer" in July of 2013. Opinion Corporation, operating as PissedConsumer.com, did not provide these instructions to [redacted], in spite of the fact that she had reached out to them more than one year prior in an attempt to remove her complaint. Opinion Corporation, operating as PissedConsumer.com, should have made the removal process clear to [redacted] prior to accepting her posting and should have been responsive to [redacted]s request to remove her complaint in January of 2012. Clearly, Opinion Corporation, operating as PissedConsumer.com, found it necessary in July of 2013 to create a webpage and a video explaining how to remove a complaint from its website, but this action did not help our company which has been financially damaged from [redacted]s negative posting that should have been removed in January of 2012 and instead continues to have a detrimental effect almost three years later. We want [redacted]s complaint page to be removed, as she intended. It appears at: http://[redacted].pissedconsumer.com/[redacted]s-charged-our-credit-card-didn-t-... also want any reference to our business - which ONLY appeared on PissedConsumer.com as a result of the publication of [redacted]s complaint - to be removed from this website by deleting the page that appears at: http://[redacted].pissedconsumer.comWe will consider this matter closed if all reference to our business, [redacted], is removed from PissedConsumer.com, as would have happened if [redacted] had been given access to the removal instructions when she sought them in January of 2012.
