Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
How does the vendor explain 2/of a second clic thrus
on 32k visits?
No published stats are available
No reports have ever been available
The vendor stipulated that they have 20k customers
At first I requested customer endorsements. That never
happenedThen I requested customer endorsement
Never received one

Revdex.com,

The customer ask us to stop the campaign midway through as he stated.  We discontinued the tracking url so more traffic would come in.  The customer also did very well with the raw numbers that came in.  We are an advertising service and cannot make...

people stay on his page for a certain amount of time.  We cannot make them purchase as well.

Thank you

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
The time sequence to visit a website would take more than .02
seconds (less than a second).
Out of 32k 0pened emails resulting to visits to the website the time
lapse never exceeded an average of 1 second.
This could only be facilitated by a mechanical means.
Also, there is a history of other customers who testified to the same
exact experience, again reflecting a pattern that could only be done
by an automated means.
This was all verified by [redacted] analytics.
The service never provided reports as to the activity of the campaigns.
Attached is a summary report from [redacted] analytics reflecting the
activity for the week of extending the campaign.
The day after the campaign was terminated there was only 1 visit
to the website.
Since the campaign ended, there have only been 10 visits.
Thank  you,
Steven

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Nothing has been stipulated by the vendor to dissuade the facts of the
results.
I have reports showing very clearly that after the campaign was stopped
there was only "one" visit to the website.
It has been a month and there has only been 40 visits to the website.
How does one explain 32k click thrus on an 8 million email campaign with
.02-.04 second visits, all furnished by one marketing source?
And not one visit resulting with an inquiry?
Again, where are the vendors reports with facts to disprove what has
been clearly shown as a misrepresentation?
Who are the customers who will vouch for this business?
So far, nothing with any substance has been disclosed.

Review: [redacted], aka [redacted] (based on other complaints related to their 800 number), took $299 from me for an email marketing campaign. Two days into the campaign that would supposedly send out emails to seniors, I find that 80% of the traffic to my site (verified by the leading three IP tracking software programs, including [redacted]) was occuring two days in a row at 2-3 am. Now let me ask you this...how many seniors do you know are surfing the web and going to websites at 2-3am EST?? Afer I learned this, [redacted] the liar made one excuse after another, such as the tracking software must be wrong. Yeah right [redacted], all three are wrong. I checked all three several times and all three showed when I visitied my site in real time. Plus all three work fine for other sites I have, accurately tracking every IP visit, in real time.

When I asked [redacted] for a refund, he then said he couldn't do it because once a campaign has started on their servers, it can't be stopped. What a load of garbage! Any server guy can stop the script automatically, at any moment.

Here's what he does...his company sends fake IP hits to your site, making you think they are living up to their guarantted website traffic that is supposed to result from the emails being sent out. The mistake they made, is they had their fake IP hits concentrated in a small window of time at 2-3am EST, for the first two days. But of course he wants me to beleive that 80% of seniors go to websites at 2-3am EST. Not even 1% of seniors go to websites at 2-3am, let alone 80%!! And another thing, of the hundred supposed hits to my site, not one single perrson stays over 3 seconds. What are the cchances of that? Real visitors would would spend 20-30 seconds at least, on average, and they would NOT be on the site at 2-3AM EST!

I asked for a refund once I became aware of the tricks they were playing. He won't call me back and sends emails that state over and over again, that unless I can send proof that the IP addresses are fake, they won't refund the money. As if a fake IP address is any easier to determine than a real one. If I could bunch the guy in the face right now, I would...and that's the Christian guy in me saying this, Lord forgive me!

[redacted] (what ever his last name is) is a scammer, liar and thief. He will likely resurface with a new name and website once complaints become to great.

One more thing, they strongly motivate you (through large discounts) to pay them via e-check. I now understand why. because disputing it is not very easy.

Don't ever pay e-check, and never deal with any online email marketing company based in Pennsylvania that has a PO box as an address. That's my mistake for not noticing that too.Desired Settlement: I asked for a refund within 2 days of them starting their bogus email campaign. I was refused it on the ground once an email campaign begin, it can.t be stopped, because a server is running it. That is ridiculous. A server can be accessed by their IT guy and the campaign can be stopped immediately.

Revdex.com,

Review: I have contracted Opt In Marketing on July 16 to send a mass email to 5 million aquarium owners for $299. This first mass email resulted in a little over 5,000 visits to our web site, enough though that the results would not fall under the "satisfaction guaranteed" this company advertises.

However, this first action did not result in any sales.

**. [redacted] convinced me that it is through repetitive campaign that we would see aquarium owners actually respond much more positively.

We went on to buy three campaigns for $598. **. [redacted] said he would double the number of recipients, from 5 to 10 million.

Once the two first campaigns launched, we did receive an increase in traffic, but still no sales.

It turned out that people accessing our website, spent on average 4 seconds without interacting with the page, which raised the question: why would people who after receiving our email, would visit our web site for less time it takes to read two lines?

**. [redacted] again said it is all about repeating the campaign, but could not provide any explanation as to why people would not take the time to visit our website.

He promised a report that he did not deliver.

I did not bother using the third campaign as I realized this company is using computer generated clicks to show for the visitors.Desired Settlement: I believe **. [redacted] should not sell what he cannot promise, which is actual customers willing to receive information about products.

Revdex.com,

Review: This is a scam! 1 week prior to subscribing to [redacted]' Optin Marketing we did a beta launch to 30,000 physicians. We received 2000 click-throughs over 400 views of our explainer video and 300 registered. According to [redacted] 1 million emails were sent to USA physicians which resulted in 0 views of our explainer video and zero registrations despite "thousands of click throughs". The metrics he uses are his own and there is no way to verify- so he thinks. We are a physician owned company and as I am writing this 58 physicians have verified they received nothing- nothing in spam either and these are physicians from all different specialties in different parts of the country. From a million emails covering 800,000 usa physicians- this is almost statistically impossible.

It gets better- we had an International campaign, just set up a new landing page, the video runs once people hit and youtube records the country of origin of the viewer. This campaign had 10 million emails sent and "12,748 click-throughs" ZERO video views or registrations. No calls, emails, nothing.

Before we signed on with him, I had started filling out the form and stopped. An hour later he called to ask if I needed help completing the transaction and he offers a couple million more emails to pay by check so he gets your money right away. His offer of millions of emails is bogas. He may send out a few thousand to who only knows (not our promised targeted market). Ask them to prove it and they will just say "we see activity on our end" whatever that means.

Anyhow- this is supposed to be a service that helps, but it is smoke and mirrors. I offered [redacted] a chance to save face- "Keep $100 for your work, and refund the rest"..but he refused. There is no way he sent 11 million emails let alone to the targeted demographic he promised with zero tangible results on our side.Desired Settlement: He can keep $100 for his work- $200 refund to us.

Response:

Revdex.com,

I am confused. The customers confirms he received good activity from our service. I understand he did not get the conversions or sales from the campaign but that is beyond our control. We are willing resend some more emails out for him but cannot refund because no one purchased his item or service.

Thank you

Review: Opt In Marketing results are deceptive.

I purchased 80 million emails from Optin Marketing. There was approximately .04% clic thrus to the website which represents 32k potential customers.

There was zero phone calls or email contacts.

I did one more campaign of 100k emails thinking that the continued online exposure would still be worth $200 per month. After a week and still no contacts,

I started to do some online research for any endorsements for Optin Marketing. I came across the opposite, companies with the same experience,

lots of .02-.06 second clic thrus with no results.

I quickly cancelled the service.

Up to the day that I cancelled the service, the website was receiving an average of 400 visits per day. The day after there was one visit,

from a location that was not even from the specified areas of the campaign.

Aside from the lack of contacts resulting from the massive campaign, when I requested specific stats, I was told their system had crashed and everything was lost.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund.
