what the insurance didn't cover and was her responsibilityPatient asked for plastic lenses, stated she couldn't see through polycarbonatePatient signed refusing poly as well and was explained the danger of plasticWe made the glasses as patient askedAfter patient picked up her glasses she tried them for two days and said she couldn't seeShe went back to the doctor and her Rx slightly changed and she brought in the new rxPatient asked to pick a different frame, one that was largerPatient picked a frame she liked better, over $300.00 and was told she had to pay the difference because she chose to go outside the selectionWe gave her a quote as to the difference she would need to pay or she needed to stick with her insurance selection that was affordable for herTwo employees showed her several frames that would look nice, ones within her insurance so she wouldn't have to pay anythingPatient was unsatisfied and decided to go outside her selection to find a better framePatient wasn't happy because she couldn't afford the extra pay after going outside selectionShe left the glasses for us to change the rxPatient was told over the phone that the owner woulviant ci? plastic with rimless due to the dangers of ItThe frame she chose was rimless, and we will not do rimless with plastic lensesPatient filed complaint instead of calling us back to resolve issue even after she was told she can come back and choose another frame which was not rimless, with plastic lenses or, she needed to go polycarbonate with the rimless frameWe gave her several options to satisfy the customer but patient wanted an expensive frame, outside her selection, and didn't want to pay for themBoth employees also offered to take an additional discount to help her but patient was unsatisfied and and filed a discrepancy claim
Patient left glasses in store and walked out and said that she will be back the following day to pick new frame but she never returned
We contacted the insurance and had them reverse the chargesShe can stop back at the office and get her $refund along with the tax of $for a total of $which is what she paid
In summary:
1.) She could not see out of glasses because her Drgave her wrong RX
2.) We offered to remake glasses with new RX at no charge to her
3.) She wanted designer glasses not covered by her insurance and not pay anything
4.) She wanted plastic lenses in a groove frame which will not be safe to wear and we will not do that due to safety issue

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me but I want you to get the facts straight. I have additional comments about their assessment of the situation:1> I did realize there was a cost difference that I was willing to payI didn't expect frames outside the insurance choices to be free as the owner stated.2> I did not choose rimless frames but semi-rimlessThese are the same type of glasses I have been wearing with plastic lenses for over yearsI was simply told that the owner refused to make them and that was thatNo refund was allowed as per that phone conversation.3> I spoke with J*** over the phone and asked me to wait a few days before I would come in to make a different selection to see if he could find frames from their other store I might like that would work within their parametersHe said he would call me and never did
