The company has agreed to work out a settlement, so I withdraw my complaint Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted]

Dear [redacted] black;"> In response to the complaint who is not the patientAnd the patient is not a minor The glasses that were sent over were left in a vehicle exposed to extreme heat or sun for a long period of time to the point the case was melted That is not a manufacturer defect and manufacturers will not replace them They were advised all of this and the member is still extremely abrasive We do have a photo of the eyewear and case and kept record of it for future use Thanks, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This is the first correspondence we had since we filed the complaint We never were informed that [redacted] ***b answered the complaint [redacted] has misrepresented the truth I am the customer I have the receipt to show that I purchased the glasses Therefore I am the consumer My son did leave his glasses that I purchased for him in the car, as do I, my husband and most people we know Never did I have a pair of glasses get hair line cracks in the coating after leaving them in a vehicle There was no warning written or implied that you could not leave the glasses in a vehicle We would not have purchased the glasses if we knew this up front So we did not come to a resolutionI would still like to be reimbursed for the glasses Regards, [redacted]

Please scroll down and you can see how I mentioned twice about her picking up additional merchandise from our office in which she did. How can *** state that there was no info in my email on how she was supposed to get the merchandise she paid for?
I received the response back from *** *** although she failed to mention the same day I emailed her and had an additional order that she picked up from the Clifton office on the same day that she responded back to the Revdex.com
We have taken many additional losses at no fault of our own
We have done our part and accommodated you. If you would like the order you said you did not receive, we have taken an additional loss and ordered them for you again and in our Clifton office, will you be picking them up?

Optical Academy came to our school district *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** in MayI had an eye exam, and picked out glasses When they were mailed to my home, they did not fit, and I could not see out of them I mailed the glasses back to them in June, as they requested No one ever called meSo after four weeks, I called them I was told that a manager would call me the next day No one didSince June, I have made many phone calls, and no one ever answers my calls I am told that there are no managers available I did speak once to a gentlemen in June who promised someone would get back to me In September I spoke to Daisy who promised to call me back I never heard from anyone again It is now almost October, and they have my $and my glasses I have nothing They told me the glasses are the right prescription However, I already wear glasses, and I cannot see out of those They are so not the right prescriptionAlso, I don't understand how t

I ordered glasses for my daughter on June 26th when we visited the storeIt has been approximately weeks and I have not received themI have called approximately times since times to inquire about the status

I am a teacher for the *** *** and the Optical Academy came to my school on 3/20/They needed teachers to participate to meet a quota to have them come at all and I wanted the kids to be able to use their servicesI requested my voucher from my union, only granted every years, so I could update my lensesI was in and out in minutes that day and did not hear anything for weeksI called on Monday 4/10/to ask where they were and informed them I never got a receiptIt was supposed to go to ***, and the person on the phone read it to me as *** The glasses came in the mail later that afternoon with the wrong prescription in the left lensI called back to find out what my options were for them to rectify this, and decided to DRIVE to *** NJ on Wednesday April 12, When I was there I received a new eye exam, checked out and they took my glasses from me againWhen I got home on Thursday May 4, and the glasses

*** I'm not sure what you are talking about with the deliveries of contacts. I received my glasses and I received a single pair of contacts that was sent to me to hold me over till this was resolved by ***I was going away in August & she was trying to resolve it but I was way overdue for a pair. Now I've had the same pair in my eyes for months, still waiting. My brother ordered some & got his delivery fineI was told by ***, after tracking it to my post office that their were numerous complaints against that post office for the same thing Not sure what number you are using to try & reach me because I've called at least times & left my numbers & only *** has ever responded. Both of my numbers are in working order. I noticed there was still no info in your email on how I am supposed to get my merchandise I paid for in JULY!!!!!cell ***hm*** *** *** Special Ed Aides Assoc.President

I ordered prescription glasses from this company back in Novand they were not the right prescription....I went again and they had my eyes re-examined by their eye doctor and his said the original prescription was completely incorrect...I returned the 1st pair and ordered the 2nd....they arrived and were also incorrect....they told me to return them also...I did and then called and called and sent emails and finally got a response that my glasses were on a shelf and they apologized and said they would get them to me...finally got the 3rd pairin JUNE!!! of and they were still wrong! I emailed someone named Kathy G*** who I was corresponding with before and told her they were wrong and that I want a refund..she responded on June 21, and said she will have her senior customer rep, Carmen, work on giving me my refund and she will ship me a return label..I last emailed Kathy on July and told her I received no response from Carmen or return label and have now got n

Optical Academy came to our school at the end of October and at that time I purchased a pair of glasses from the company I received the glasses November 22, As I attempted to wear them, I realized that the trifocals didn't seem to be in the correct position At that time, I notified the contact person at the organization and she gave me some suggestions that I tried Again, I experienced the same problem I measured the new glasses with the new glasses and found that the measurements were too high on the new glasses At this time, I emailed back to the contact person explaining the situation, sent the measurements and asked for a solution I returned the glasses to the company at the beginning of December I did not hear anything from the company even after repeated attempts to contact them until the liaison at the the school notified the CEO of the company I received an email from the contact person stating the glasses were in the lab and would be sent to me

Went to Optical Academy and physician prescribed drops that were taken off the marketPharmacy tried calling them for days and their was no return phone call5th day she wanted to say she was Sorry and would give me another prescription because she was told that the medication was on back orderBut failed to contact me the customer that this was soBut in the mean time on Thursday of July 6th she said I'll see what I can do for you about getting your money back plus the extra money you put out with another eye Dr

[redacted] has misrepresented the truth.  I am the customer.  I have the receipt to show that I purchased the glasses.  Therefore I am the consumer.

There was no warning written or implied that you could not leave the glasses in a vehicle.  We would not have purchased the glasses if we knew this up front.
 
So we did not come to a resolution. I would still like to be reimbursed for the glasses.
