The consumer did bring in her eyeglasses into us on Sept 14, for a repair on the Left earpieceIt would have been a simply fix if I had the earpiece in stock, I did notThe consumer though that she would have to pay for this repair, I informed her that the frame was under warranty and the earpiece would be coveredI never mentioned the shipping chare at this time, my mistakeI always give an approximation time frame in when I will received the partIt is never an exact time frameI was informed by the company that sold these frames to us that the earpiece was not in stockBut that they could send us a complete frame under the warrantyI thought that the patient would be happy getting a complete new frameThe way warranty's work we Optical Eyewear Inc, are billed for the frame, when we ship back the old frame we are credited for the frame, but not the shippingAfter I ordered the frame it usually takes 3-business days to arriveThis is where the problem began, I ordered, then assumed that the frame was been shipped to usWhen the consumer came in on the 21st assuming that her eyeglasses were ready, I informed her they had not arrivedI let her know that I would be calling the company to find out why I had not received the frameI called the sales representative for this company, she told me she would check into this and call me backShe returned my call days later and informed me that she placed the order again, not knowing what happened to the first orderI mention here that this is not the representation of ordering frames from companiesI have been in business for years this is not a representation of how we do business.Enclosed is a letter from the company that we were ordering this frame from, it shows that they made an internal mistake in sending the frame to usAs much as I tried to correct this matter in getting this frame to the consumerI did not know what was going on at the company were we ordered this frameThe consumer came and pickher broken eyeglasses, and informed us that she was not going to do business with usWhen the new frame did arrive days later, we sent the frame back for creditIf the consumer still wants this frame I would have to order this frame againThen return the old one for credit
