I saw the website and I thought the prices were fine, for designer prescription glasses, I called to make one appointment for my sister and one for my nieceThey do not speak English and do not live in the US They were not told an estimated price , they kept doing test after test....the bill came to over $ 1,for two pairs of glasses This is not acceptable when the most expensive frame shows at $ and the exam $ I wasn't there when they charged my card that amountMisleading, tourist trapThieves

Review: I had a voucher from Living Social for an eye exam and $175 on eyeglasses which I purchased. I made an appointment telling them I had the voucher. I went in and put the voucher on the counter and said that I only wanted what the voucher included. I had the eye exam & the doctor was very nice. "[redacted]" then handed me the cheapest looking frames which were fine because I only wanted them for reading in my house and she then tells me that my total is $675 and that was with the voucher. I said that I only wanted what the voucher would cover. She told me that there are no frames in the entire store that the voucher would cover that the cheapest would be $375. I told her that I was not going to get the glasses at this time and she told me that I owed $100 for the five minute eye exam. I told her that the voucher clearly states that it is good for the eye exam AND for $175 to glasses. She then got really loud and rude and said the exam is only if a make a purchase even though the voucher clearly states "eye exam and $175 to spend on perscription eyeglasses and an extra pair of frames from Optical World". I started to get upset since they already had my name, address and phone number so she said well just give me $50. I handed her my credit card and she charged me $55 (she even had to rip me off for that). I signed and left. She is a horrible person, the entire experience was horrible.Desired Settlement: Credit card refund, [redacted] voucher refund and that people are warned about this place.

In regards to her living voucher [redacted] was under the impression that her voucher would cover all her expenses for her glasses. However the voucher clearly states that she is allowed $175.00 towards a complete pair of prescription glasses. If she has expenses above that she would have to pay the difference. [redacted] was explained that as well as its explained before purchase of the voucher. We have followed all guidelines regarding the promotion and feel we have done all on our art to rectify the matter.

Her response never happened, not a single thing in the store has a price on it, she keeps adding up numbers on a piece of paper and when you do not agree she keeps changing the numbers and double talking about what the numbers are for, she made no attempt to rectify anything, I wish I had read Yelp first, I never would have walked into her store.

Review: I went into Optical World because of a flyer I recieved stating that all frames were half off and a second frame was free. When I went in to the store they took my glasses to measure the prescription and I have astigmatism so I can't see. I thought I was getting a deal but when I saw the final price it was 1,650 dollars. And the saled Rep [redacted] stated that she slashed prices from $2,300. I told her that was ridiculous and I do not want to pay but she had already swiped my card. I currently filed a dispute with my credit card company. I explained to [redacted] that I did not want the frame that very day and she proceeded to order them anyway. I refuse to take these glasses and I beilieve she overcharged me and took advantage of my inability to see clearly.Desired Settlement: I just want the money credited back to my credit card. I do not want the merchandise and I refuse to pay such a high amount of money for glasses that are suppose to be on sale.

Review: Bought glasses there last december. Frames broke due to defective screw. Took in to get repaired. Now claims that they cant find them, that lab has them , that lab lost them, that they are mad too blAh blah blah.

But will not replace glasses or refund money.

Previously took money and then did not deliver glasses in time as oromised.

But now they have clearly just stolen the glasses!
