Optima Pools Reviews (4)

The Optima experience! My wife and I recently contracted to rebuild our "ugly" pool with Thomas B[redacted] of Optima pools. Price being a factor, we set out to get bids, and many bids we did receive accompanied by grand promises of superior quality and images of a sublime oasis. But thankfully we were fortunate enough to meet with Mr. B[redacted] who took time to explain the differences in the materials, applications and engineering of the systems to ensure that the remodel was successful. Pool owners know that first come the salesmen followed by the subcontractors who frequently do as "they" please or argue with the home owner to complete the work as " they" know best. Mr. B[redacted] monitored the construction daily and called contractors back to rework elements of the pool that fell short of Optima's expectations. We were truly amazed. Work that we thought was acceptable, he pointed out the errors and made sure the contractors performed at a higher level of quality. Today we have more than a beautiful pool, it is truly a show piece at a very affordable price without the argument and conflicts that have become commonplace for those who have had the experience of building or remodeling our backyard sanctuaries.
Thank you Optima Pools and hang on to staff members like Thomas B[redacted]. His value to your organization is invaluable.

September 14, 2015  Revdex.com4428 N. 12th Street, Phoenix,AZ 85014 Response to complaint [redacted]   To whom this may concern, It has come to our attention that there was a complaint made against Optima Pools...

LLC on 12/13/2014 and would like the case re-opened to include our response. We sincerely apologize for the consumer misunderstanding and for failing to respond. We overlooked the Revdex.com complaint for the reason that we are not a Revdex.com member/subscriber and had misunderstood the necessity to respond appropriately.  Complaint: I hired [redacted], owner of Optima Pools LLC to install 4 replacement jets in my Jacuzzi hot tub. He was recommended to me by Home Advisor a referral service. When he came out, he didn't have any of the jets and told me he had to go buy parts. He charged me $89 per hour to go buy parts. After he installed the jets, the jets wouldn't work. He spent another whole day trying to figure out what was wrong. He was going to tear my whole tub apart looking for a problem in the air line. I didn't feel comfortable with that so I asked him what I owed him, paid him $623 for what he did and hired AAA Repair and Service. He took one look at the jets and told me they were installed incorrectly.....all four of them. [redacted] has not returned my call. I feel that he owes me some kind of a refund.....like the labor involved.Desired Settlement: I think $300 is a resaonable amount   Optima Pools LLC Response: We replaced the filter, spa jets and the old, faulty air intake assemblies and worked long after hours on a Friday evening trying to complete the job. We explained that there was an issue yet to be resolved and that we would need return on Monday. We contacted Jacuzzi regarding the issue and was informed that the old jet design had changed, making it necessary to modify the installation. When we called the customer on Monday morning to let them know we were on our way to resolve the issue, we were asked not to return. We maintained that an easy, quick remedy could be done and again we were asked not to return. We invoiced appropriately for parts and labor. Sadly, this customer has distorted reality. We were not allowed to complete the work. Sincerely,   Thomas B[redacted]Optima Pools LLC[redacted]
