Optimal Health Greathouse Chiropractic Inc Reviews (9)

I agree with the prior reviews I will label their neurapothy as a scam They promise the numbness will go away I have had treatments I used their cream, followed their diet and used their foot massager times a day per their recommendation I have seen exactly zero improvement I complained Their answer was it takes time They even added more treatmentsWhy would I waste the gas to get their and home And they have graduation pictures on the wall What?? They are shrewd!!
I am giving up and will ask for at least half my money back I will update this complaint forum soon, and get the Revdex.com to report this fraudulent companyI was duped! My bad
I went to a new, well respected neurologist, Dr*** *** today who advised me without a doubt that the numbness I have will NEVER go away with their treatment I will also see if the Turko Files investigator for Channel 51, KUSI is still around so he can investigate and report on this fraudulent business I hope he can let other people know not to do as I did

I wish I had read these reviews before I paid them $8,They guaranteed to stop the progressionAfter treatments with light therapy and electric pulse, I am no better, actually a bit worseI followed the diet and did the exercises and walked every dayAlso used the massager twice a day
The previous reviews are so on the markthey definitely prey on the elderly and should he taken to task!

From the beginning until now I felt like they knew what they were doing The doctor explained my numbness and balance problem so it made sense
I have been doing treatment now for several weeks and am now starting to feel some feeling in my feet like I haven't had in a while I'm also glad to report being a little more steady on my feet
Looking forward to more results!

The office in Sunnyvale is a very nice place to go toThe staff are friendly & very helpful, and the treatments have been helping me greatly! I was first experiencing numbness in my feet all the time, and now halfway through treatment it only happens once in a while

Worst example of medical professionals ever periodIF THEY HAVE THERE MOUTH OPEN THEY ARE LYING
***Let's start with the business upfront!
DOCTORS=CHIROPACTORS with diminishing medical knowledge and basing everything on the Google search engineExp( Me: Doc what is B.I.D..? Doc: "no idea" Horrid to know a doctor doesn't know medications are taken B.I.D or twice a dayThese "Doctors" are trained very well to be "actors" with scripts for common questions about the profession and medical practice-Due to being involved in an explosion while deployed in Aphganistan, I was lucky enough to lose nerve endings within my hand(WHAT THIS COMPANY WOULD CLASSIFY AS "NEUROPATHY" AS WELL AS MOST NEUROGENIC DISORDERS.) I underwent sophisticated MICROSCOPIC SURGERY TO HARVEST NERVES FROM MY OWN BODY ALONG WITH A SYNTHETIC MYELIN COATING TO REGAIN FEELINGTHIS WAS THE ONLY WAY TO FIX SOMETHING OF MY SEVERITYDo not let these sales driven money hungry people make you feel like it is your only option! In this business they call it RUINING the patient and are quite literal with the meaningDefinitely not hating on the company because they do make some rare changes to certain few individualsBut I am disgusted with the way they treat patients like they are cattle and how you are the "Guinea Pig" to an untested treatment using electricity and "programs of frequency"Do not let them "PRACTICE" on you LITERALLY Make sure they know that suction cups dont pull or conduct current of electricity in any way (which I was adamitly told)Make sure they dont arc that same current across your body causing burns or irreversible damage (which they will dismiss as too much hair/skin/lotion)Make sure you ask your TECH what his/her background is and if they know how to take a manual blood pressure using a sphygmomanometer and stethoscopePretty sure (90% or so that there answer will return with leaving for a few minutes and grabbing a "doctor")Make sure that you plain and simply accept the free information and leave for goodThey have nothing to offer other than a diet (paleo diet), a massaging foot rubber, a light boot treatment, some half *** SUPPLEMENTS (NOT MEDICATIONS) and a few zapsTHEY WILL SOON BE MAKING PUSHES TOWARDS CURING DIABETES! (What a joke, they are not a med lab nor medical innovators.) Make sure you research the machines and "modalities of treatment" on your own without swiping your card or handing over moneyI've seen the HAKOMED and PRO NEURO LIGHT BOOTs FOR SALE all over the country at wholesale prices due to many other failing business modelsBuy the machines yourself and use them as I'm sure these foundation medical group specialists wouldn't have a clue how to use them either without an owners manualBrennan *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** **

I was tempted to file this report under scams. I personally felt that my wife and I were scammed. It’s possible others have benefited, by way of the placebo effect. During my several months of treatment at Optimal, I did not meet one person who said they benefited.

Optimal’s free gourmet information dinner professes to inform about the latest advancements in neuropathy. Not true! All you get is a lot of scare tactics, a trashing of our medical system and statistics comparing US and Europe.

The contract you are asked to sign is very deceptive. (I’ll not be convinced its legal till I hear it from a judge.)

The contract you sign is based on a discount price. Oh good! But Wait !! If - for some reason you cannot complete the contracted treatment - then those services that you did receive are costed at an inflated ‘regular contract price’ which drastically reduces any refund.

My wife signed up for $8300 package to address neuropathy and balance issues. She completed 21 of 30 treatments, then could not continue because of a serious and debilitating metastatic disease. I requested a refund and got a meager 9% back for the unused treatments which is unacceptable.

READ THIS. If my wife had received just three more treatments - her refund would have been negative. Something’s wrong here.

When I questioned their representative about the meager refund amount she explained that the regular rate is applied to services afforded and the discount rate for those services NOT used. This tactic it wipes out most of the refund.

She was not surprised when I expressed disappointment at the 9% refund. I could sense she was expecting my reaction.

Her smug grin and body language could not be missed.

Optimal targets the elderly. who have aches and pains, have a burning desire to recover some of their youthful health and are often have a nest egg and are too embarrassed to admit they’ve been ripped off.

To all who read this - beware of Optimal Health’s unrivaled friendliness and optimism. They prey on the elderly, they demand every cent up front - you have no leverage, they have a contract designed to deceive. In my opinion, they are a scam.

I hope that this report will contribute to better informed decisions.

Hello [redacted],  I have been monitoring this complaint and was told that a super bill was delivered to you. I hope that this satisfies your request and apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused.  Please let me know if you have any more questions or if there is any more...

questions that need answers.  My direct emails is [email protected]  and my phone number is ###-###-####.  I would love to follow up with you, please contact me directly when you are available.

I agree with the previous posts; all they want is your money. We attended the seminar which uses scare tactics; photos of diseased feet, and the next step is amputation. You don't want that do you; so sign up with us. These people are salesmen, nothing more. There were no diplomas hanging in their offices, only photos of people who gave great testimonials! For $11,000 plus, which includes 30 visits and supplements, and an apparatus to be used at home, you may get relief; no guaranties. But if you sign up today, the cost was approx. 7,800. The Dr. Greathouse said they make it affordable for seniors; this is affordable. The cost is more than $200 per visit! Have a problem with payments? He suggested we get an interest-free Discover card. I told him we needed to speak to my doctor before beginning this treatment. He seemed agitated and said he'll hold a spot open for 1 week! Lucky us!! Buyer beware!!

Very concerned that this business is preying on elderly and vulnerable people. Their seminars appear to use scare tactics and fear in order to get attendees to sign up in any way possible to get them into the office.
There are no board certified MDs of staff, and the rest of the work force seems to have a very short tenure...
The business name was recently changed from Foundation Medical Group - not sure if it was an attempt to skirt legal issues, or possibly to elude poor reviews.
Several yelp reviews also mention that legal actions were taken AGAINST the reviewers by the business, for posting negative reviews... If this is true, then this company should be flagged for investigation, for taking advantage of people, and bullying/threatening anyone who does not provide a stellar 5-star review.
The Revdex.com would do well to take a few moments to review their accreditation of this business - at the very least to confirm whether or not any association with such a business is in the Revdex.com's best interest.
