And the only comment you have is when you were supposed to finish our home.WE DO HAVE ONE WORKING BATHROOM AFTER MONTHS (family of and my year old brother who had a massive stroke on July 2015)And Randy has a contractor license but is never on job sight! And when you ask who did your plumbing and electrical he says " I'll have them contact you." Guess what still nothin!!
It was one of the best experiences in hiring a handyman for my husband and I They got back to us quickly for a quote and came and did the work in the same manner They built a 16xdeck with foot stairs on one end The work was completed in days, counting the footings We were very impressed with the workman's conduct and clean up of area We are planning on using them for future kitchen work and now know who to call as needed Thank you Optimum!

I had an old outside deck that was fallen down and needed to be replaced. I hired Optimum Custom Design to replace it with a enclosed porch / mudroom. The structure was well designed and their work was top notch. The design of this porch was well done and changed the whole outlook of my home. They matched the siding up very well to match the color of my home. Randy and his crew are the best, kept me informed of any problems or unexpected delays. Randy even added a closure of the back bulk head that was not part of the original price. I had got 5 estimates and nothing came close to their price. I will be using Randy and his crew for a future garage to be built. I am so glad I hired Optimum Custom Design.
I had Optimum build be a custom sunroom, with an additional feature of an upstairs balcony connected from the master bedroom. This work occurred in Oct/Nov 2015. Once we had the building permits with the town, they began work right away, and showed up on time daily. In terms of flexibility , they were able to change things on the fly as necessary, and I gave them a weekly punchlist, which they fixed as we went along. Randy dealt with the town inspectors and handled all of their comments in stride. In the end, I have a finished room that looks great. The crew was also very trustworthy - honest and hard working. They kept the job site clean and took time to clean up pretty well at the end of the job. I did not have any plumbing work done, but their electrician (Erik B[redacted]) did all of the right things and offered his services for later on, which I may use.
Overall, I would definitely consider using Optimum again. The price was fair, and we were not charged with many extras unless I asked for them.
Very happy with Optimum Custom Design. My 84 year old uncle needed to put an addition (bedroom, bathroom, sitting room & deck) on his 100 year old house. OCD did a great job from design to completion. The entire project was completed within a few weeks. One of our biggest concerns was to have not only quality work but to have a crew that understood how disruptive a project like this could be to a 84 year old. Randy and his crew were the best! They were friendly, informative, hard working, and responsive to all our needs. Randy was always easy to reach and respectful of my uncle's needs/concerns.
