Review: I visisted this dentisit office with concerns about a cavity. After meeting with a person by the name of [redacted] who is the (Office [redacted]), she recommened that I under go a "deep cleaning process" for my teeth. She informed me that my insurance would not cover the procedure, which cost $125. I told her that I could not afford $125 and she told me that she would do it for $100.I agreed to do the procedure for $100. That same day I set up an appointment for Nov. ** 2013 to get the procedure done. On the day of the apointment, before the procedure took place [redacted] did not discuss with me how the procedure would be done. She continued to do the deep cleaning procedure, which only consisted of cleaning half of my mouth. After the procedure I then asked [redacted], why is that only half of my mouth was cleaned? Her response was that" it is a 2 step procedure." She then explained to me about the cleaning process, and how it included the four quadrants. And that she would do the two other quadrants on the next appoinment. Upon leaving the office I scheduled an appointment with the receptionist for the second process of the cleaning. No other information was given to me in regards to the deep cleaning process. After leaving the dentist office I recieved a phone call from the receptionist stating that I owe a co-payment of $200.00. for the deep cleaning process. I asked why this co-payment was so high. And then over the phone the receptionist told me that "each quadrant was $100.00 to clean." Which brought my total co-payment to $200.00.I informed them that this is not how you do business, If I had that information before the proceedure I would have not agreed to do it, because I can not afford it.Desired Settlement: My desired resolution would be that the dentisit office to acknowledge that they were wrong in the informational process to the me the client. And that the whole deep cleaning proceedure be done for $100.00. The way that [redacted] explained the procedure to me was very misleading and I feel tricked into paying for a procedure that was not told to me in full detail.
