Option One Mortgage

Option One Plumbing sent Richard out to repair a slab leak for me. He said he would use leak detection equipment for 400.00 then apply that to the repair for 2,900 leaving a balance of 2,500.00 He called me at work to say he found the leak and would break out the slab and make the repair. Later he called to say he found another leak and it would cost 12,000.00 to run a new line and install a filtration system or repair the second leak for another 2,500.00 It seemed like he was jacking the price up so I called another plumber who said everything Option did was for nothing and he would run a new line overhead thus eliminating the slab leaks for 1,800.00. He did and it fixed the leak. Kevin at Option One would not call me back until I filed a complaint with the CSLB and then wouldn't discount his job after I paid them the 2,500.00 they are dishonest and only want to raise the cost after starting. There plumber should have found the second leak (If there really was one ) first because it was right where the water was coming through the slab, rather than the leak he repaired that was 6' away.
