Hello, In regards to the complaint ID against Option One Plumbing by [redacted] , Option One Plumbing has refunded the $he was requesting on 8/8/I also called him to inform him that there would be no charge for the serviceHe requested that his account be removed from our system and that was done for him as well

Authorization has to be given by the owner of the property for any work being done to the property Mr[redacted] allowed the products to be installed on his propertyWe do not bill any one with out an account we did wait as asked by Mr [redacted] to collect payment from the buyer of the home as it was in escrow and as this was a third party deal on his sideMr [redacted] did fight this with his card company and they deemed the charges made were lawfulWe have spoke to Mr [redacted] several times over the phone about his situation we are very sorry that the sale of his home did not go to plan as the buyer backed out of escrowMr [redacted] should really go after the third party for the money he spent to upgrade the plumbing that the buyer agreed to pay him for

Customer called us out due to a kitchen sink stoppage and laundry line both lines are tied together before going to the main sewer linewe installed a new clean out snaked and hydro jetted linewe don't provide chemicals of any sort we provide a bottle of eco friendly drain maintainter for the

1.I paid $for detection, but Option One failed on thisI don't see the reason that they can keep the moneyThe other company found that Option One might be wrong just after a rough detection(less than minutes), that's why I had to pay the 2nd company $for isolationAnd the isolation proved that *** was wrong!
Actually my bathroom is very small, and there are only several pipes(3~possibilities for leaks), before Option One came here, I myself knew it's a underground leakI have never received any plumbing training,but I could pick one leak location randomly from options, does that mean I knew where the leak was? NoWhat easy money that Option One has made if they think they can keep the money
Before *** left, I rejected the further service from Option One, and *** promised that his detection was correctThat's why I paid him $for the detectionI didn't pay the guess result!
Before my check was cleared, I called them every day for a whole weekend, and Option One always told me that the refund check would be sent out the next dayWhy hadn't they told me that they didn't want to refund? During that week, the bank had closed for days for weekend and holiday
I think honesty is very important in business, maybe some people don't think so

I am rejecting this response because:The credit card company told me that they don't get in the middle of disputes, that they had to pay Option One because I had given them my credit card (I had given them my credit card for the other work that they did on the sewer pipe leak and hot water heater and not for this disputed charge).The credit card company told me that disputes like this have to be handled by organizations such as the Revdex.com, etc.Again, Option One is not telling the truth here.*** is the service person at Option One who I dealt with for the sewer repair, the hot water heater (both of which I ordered and paid for) and the thing that we are dealing with now that he worked out with *** (to the best of my memory, it was some sort of hot water booster).I told *** very clearly that I do not want the hot water booster All I wanted was to do the bare minimum, being that the house was being sold as is and I was already in escrow!!! There was no reason for me to pay $2,for something that was basically a luxury item.*** then said if it is ok to ask ***, the buyer, and if she wants to buy it, being that it would be less expensive for her to buy it now while he was there installing the hot water heater, would that be ok with me if she want to buy it.I said that we be between *** and *** and again made it very clear to *** that I do not want it.After *** backed out of escrow and refused to pay for it, *** called me.I reminded him of our conversation.*** said then that he would go after *** for it.Again, Option One is lying about this.Also, they stated that I signed something about having the hot water booster done.That is a lie and that's why they haven't produced that document.Please ask them for that document........you will see that they are lying about this as well.They waited until August 17, a month and a half after they did the work, because they *** was refusing to pay, so they figured they would charge my card and I wouldn't fight it, being that I am miles away from them.*** ***
