Option One Plumbing Reviews (%countItem)

Had sewage block problems, called option one for inspection. I was not at the property when Technician did the camera inspection, he never provided the copy of the video or pictures from camera. I called their office and was told that technician didn’t save pictures and they cannot provide video because I didn’t request at the time of inspection. I was never told that I had to request pictures or video at the time of inspection. I have already paid for the camera inspection $175 but got no proof of inspection been done.
They can’t provide me in writing the statement “the video or pictures has to be requested at the time of inspection “.

Option One Plumbing Response • Dec 30, 2019

Good Afternoon,

We have reviewed the complaint by ***. Under normal circumstances a camera inspection is $250 which does not include a recording or photos. No one on site or via the phone asked our technician to provide photos or video otherwise the cost would have been $350. Our service expert did go out and perform the camera inspection for $175 because the were a returning customer and our service expert also included in that cost a free drain cleaning which is a value of $83. Even without the recording or photo's proof of the work was done via the recommendation our service expert made. He would not have been able to make such a recommendation without doing the camera inspection first. In order to satisfy ***, Option One Plumbing would like to send out a service expert to re-camera the line and will provide the recording and photo's at no additional cost.

Customer Response • Jan 03, 2020

I am rejecting this response because:
the sewage block was an urgent issue and I could not delay it so I had to call another plumbing company and paid them again for camera inspection and took care of the problem. The reason I had called the option one company in first place was because they had worked on the same plumbing issue twice before within the same year and unfortunately it never got resolved. I don’t know if they did snake it or not, I was not there and my tenants did not see any work got done. I would rather have my Full money back from option one.

OVERCHARGED WORK DONE: This company makes the customer think a camera is needed in order to create a project that will cost you thousands of dollars and all I needed was a drain cleared. What was originally agreed on the contract on Friday, February 15, 2019 is not what was done Saturday, February 16, 2019. Plumber showed up 9:45 a.m. I had a friend to oversee the job being done at the start and end. Plumber DID NOT even go under house and was charged $2,600! This company, per supervisor charges by the Job and not by the hour. When job began, plumber did not have a flashlight my friend held a flashlight throughout the job off and on. Job done: Cut a 2 x 2 square of drywall cut out an existing 2 inch trap and cleared the line. Per contract, will return for after cam inspection Monday 2/16/2019 and was scheduled and they never came or called. When discussed this over the phone with Supervisor ***, he said he had pictures and plumber went underneath house and HE DID NOT. The 2 x 2 square inside my garage was left open and animals can easily go into my garage. A paperless company that uses an IPAD for a customer to sign 2X one signature and another to waive the 3 day cancellation, and to find out the next day on your e-mail an invoice of an overcharged bill. Throughout my life, I have called several companies for a drain being cleared and has NEVER experience anything like this.

Mar 20 19 11:33a Option One Plumbing OPTI ONE PLUMBING ,*** YOU ue WW1 March 20, 2019 ID: *** RE: *** Ontario, CA *** 10,3 On February 152019 *** called our company Option One Plumbing to take care of an issue she was having with her toilet drains backing up into her shower drains. After several attempts by our service expert to locate a proper clean out to be able to take care of her issue it was apparent that they only way to find the cause of the blockage was to remove the toilet and perform a camera inspection to try to locate a clean out and then reset the toilet. At which point *** was given the price of $350 to take care of that portion of the work and if there were any additional repairs that needed to be the $350 would be put towards the cost of the repair, please see invoice 91797, the first line item describes what was done, the fact that that cost would be put toward the repair and which shows that she agreed to and signed for the work to be done. Upon completion of the job our service expert gave *** two options, which are also listed on invoice 91797. *** choose the first option which came to a total of $2950. She scheduled the appointment for February 16,2019. Our service expert went to the property on the 16th and took care of repair. As you can see on invoice 91801 the charge was for $2600 which included the original cost that was $2950 minus the $350 that was promised. Again, you can also see that she signed for all of the work to be done. *** reached out to our company stating that the $350 was never applied to the cost of the repair. She was explained to multiple times that the discount was given, but was not understanding. On March 14, 2019 - *** called again and Brianna, the executive assistant spoke with her. In order to calm her down and finally get payment for invoice 91801 Brianna authorized an additional discount of $350 which brought the total cost of the job down to $2,250.00. On 3/18/19 the check in the amount of $2,250 was received from ***. At this point all issues have been resolved. If you have any questions or need additional information please feel free to contact me at any time.

Thank you. ***

Duane came out, did the work professionally and at the exact price I was quoted, something that many do not do. I will use them and specifically him again if I need work done.

Had two tricky dielectric unions in the attic that were corroding badly, tight spot too. Option One guy did a clean fix at a fair price, $336.00. Took pictures to show the fix. Very happy!

Hi my is *** ,

Robert was able to unclogged my main pipe at my house very satisfied with their service.
well I highly recommend option one
Thanks

Thank You! Your review means a lot to us and we appreciate you taking the time to leave us a positive review.

Did a great job at a great price!!

I’ve had a shower pipe clogged .I hired option one plumber in August 21st 2018 , I am very pleased and satisfied with the excellent job the gentleman performed, whatever amount they quoted me that’s what I paid no gimmicks no games etc .they were able to unclogged the pipe in 30 minutes I am very happy customer I highly recommend, will definitely hire them again thanks

I had a leak in the garage ceiling and called them Friday morning-they cut away the drywall and replaced 2feet ( I measured 1 foot) and charged $1185. I was at work and this is one of our rentals units so I had the work done trusting this was a fare price. NOT. I called 4 plumbers in the area and was told it would be around $400-$600. They did replace a hose bib for free ($10 max part).I called Option One and talked with Kevin there and was basically told to pound sand. Les than 1 star if possible.

I called them today to get help with a garbage disposer that broke last night. A girl told me on the phone someone will show between 11 to 1. I get a text around 12 stating someone is on way. around 12:30 a plumber van stops by my drive way and then leaves. about 15 to 20 min later I called the dispatcher girl and informed her that my guy did not show up except a van came in and out of the drive way. she said can I call you right back. and she never called back. after one hour I receive a quote from a guy that never showed up to replace a garbage disposer for under $700.

This Company was professional from the very start. I had the pleasure of having DJ come and fix our plumbing problem. He was great! I will recommend Option One to my neighbors and suggest they ask for DJ.
