We have never and would never install any virus as listed in the above complaintStating that "Our company is responsible for installing a virus" is reckless, defamatory and libelousWe would recommend that complainant install a trusted antivirus product which can be obtained freely online and scan her machine or take it to a professional local computer repair company. We had not received the complaint from the Revdex.com until February because they had the wrong contact information, which they can verify for youUpon receiving the complaint we responded to the matter promptly

I am rejecting this response because: as I stated previously I had no issues with my laptop until your company's info started showing up each time I tried to open something in the browser No other company/business shows upJust yours I filed the complaint with the information given to be by YOUR phone agent in December I'm very insistent that your company fix the laptop as I requested from the begining Your agent stated it could be fixed by an expert technician for a feeI am not interested in paying a fee Your company's phone number and info shows up each time I attempt to use the computer Why would that be if your company had nothing to do with the issue? I stand by my complaint that your company is responsible and needs make things right Perhaps you need to forward this complaint to your supervisor since it seems customer service is not your priority I'm getting weary of these back and forth messages and demand resolution from your company in a timely manner.

This look alike site will be similar to the actuallysite in which the legit software you are attempting to download will comefrom.   We would recommend that Ms. [redacted] remove the applicationalong with other downloads on the same date using Add/Remove Programs andFeatures option in the Control Panel and proceed to scan the computer with atrusted Anti-Virus to ensure that it is safe from infection. The company in which that is responsible for [redacted] is[redacted]. You can reach them at [redacted] or email them at[redacted].comIn reference to [redacted], this is known to have phising capabilities. It prompts users to enter their email address and passwords and proceeds tosend spam for [redacted] to all contacts. We would have to suggest that Ms. [redacted] refrain fromentering any usernames/passwords on websites unrelated to their direct originto avoid having these issues in the future.

Dear Revdex.com,We never received notice for the below mentioned complaint?and we would like to respond to this as it was just brought to our attention?recently. Also, in the future if there is ever anything complaint to pleasesend it...

to[redacted]?.Complaint: 01/07/2015Problems with Product / Service | ReadComplaint DetailsXComplaintI listed this as [redacted] because there was not othercategory I felt was applicable. Every time I use my computer this business'sadvertisement pops up. It lists a number to call to fix the issue. I called thenumber and spoke with an operator (). I explained that I did not ask for theirservices and was only interested in why their add pops up each time I click ona website or item with in a website and emailed instructions on how touninstall their pop up/program. She was not able to send me the info with outcharging me to speak to an "expert technician" and could only tell methat I needed to be more careful when surfing the web.Product_Or_Service: [redacted] LaptopDesired SettlementI would like detailed written instructions on how to get ridof this "bug" at no charge. Or have them replace whatever is neededto get my laptop in working order. It is a shame that consumers have their equipmentruined by people like this.- See more at:[redacted]----------Response: If this individual would no longer like to see anytype of advertisement on their computer, we would recommend that she install anad-blocker. Advertisements are an integral part of the internet as we know ittoday. Unfortunately we are unable to tell advertising platforms such as [redacted],[redacted], [redacted] and other platforms to not show ads to a specific user.Since this individual also mentioned receiving pop ups we recommend she install a pop-up blocker. Some of our advertising partners may show pop-ups on their websites to showusers relevant advertisements. Unfortunately, we are not able to tell theseadvertising platforms not to show advertisements to specific individuals aswell.Advertisements are not a “bug” or anything that would “ruin”or cause equipment to have to be “replaced”. Again we would recommend that thisindividual install an ad-blocker and pop-up blocker to remedy their issues. Thanks,[redacted]Customer Service TeamOptix Resolve
