A&G Refrigeration absolutely looks at all aspects of the condenser during the Spring Checks I believe the customer is confused because we state that we check capacitors during this check, but we do not replace them for free; however, the customer does get a discounted price for the replacement of a capacitor for being a Service Agreement customer It is extremely possible that the faulty capacitor could have been performing properly during the Spring check (four months before the customer's service call) which is what the technician's notes indicate; however, the technician that performed the customer's Spring Check is no longer with us, so for the customer's benefit, we will assume the capacitor was beginning to go bad during the check and went unnoticed We certainly do not want our customers to feel frustrated and/or as if their Service Agreement isn't worth their money, so we are willing to refund the customer the $diagnostic charge in the chance that the capacitor was starting to go bad during the Spring Check The $warranty capacitor charge will still stand because even if it would have been changed during the Spring Check, that charge would have still occurred We hope this resolves the customer's issue and he/she feels justifiedIf there's anything else we can do, please let us know

replacement of a capacitor for being a Service Agreement customer.  It is extremely possible that the faulty capacitor could have been performing properly during the Spring check (four months before the customer's service call) which is what the technician's notes indicate; however, the technician that performed the customer's Spring Check is no longer with us, so for the customer's benefit, we will assume the capacitor was beginning to go bad during the check and went unnoticed.  We certainly do not want our customers to feel frustrated and/or as if their Service Agreement isn't worth their money, so we are willing to refund the customer the $90 diagnostic charge in the chance that the capacitor was starting to go bad during the Spring Check.  The $82 warranty capacitor charge will still stand because even if it would have been changed during the Spring Check, that charge would have still occurred.  We hope this resolves the customer's issue and he/she feels justified. If there's anything else we can do, please let us know.
