 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because I have received a written estimate for installation of the four gas lines ($1,200), which one of his plumbers verbally confirmed as being an estimate that they would honor.  Unfortunately, in the end, they refused to honor it.

Review: On June 25, 2014, O'Quinns Plumbing (the owner Wes said that his employee - I think his name was Keith, but I could be wrong - give her a written estimate. Wes said to me as he was leaving to go to another service call that Keith will take care of us because he is the one that does all the gas and understands the O'Quinns Plumbing estimate process) gave me a written estimate to install an outdoor kitchen sink (drain and hot/cold potable water) and install four new propane lines. The estimate was $1,200 and $1,625 respectively. I signed the estimate and thought that the next step was performing the work since no depoist was required. About two weeks later when the technician, John, came out to my house to look at the work, he said that the estimate was less than it should be, but he would honor it and do the work. A day or two after that, John advised that they weren't going to honor the estimate because Wes said they wouldn't. In trying to speak with Wes, he hung up the phone and became uncooperative ever since.Desired Settlement: Come install the sink per [redacted] County permit code.

Review: I engaged this contractor to do a water main repair in May. They completed part of the repair, but not the entire job, which I agreedwas fine. When they returned this fall to complete the job (insulatingthe new water line they installed in May), the plumber fell through myceiling in the kitchen and broke the fixture that holds my lighting inthe ceiling. It has been three weeks since this happened, and this isstill broken. They sent a repair man to fix it, and while he did patchthe hole, the fixture is still broken. I had to call them again to findout when he/they were going to finish this job. They assigned a newrepairman to fix it, who was supposed to arrive today. I called him thismorning to confirm, and he informed me that he was not coming asO'Quinns had gotten a third person to do the repair. I never heard from thenew repair person, or O'Quinns informing me that this had been reassigned. This means my fixture is still broken. While this vendor did an OK job with the initial repair, the followthrough with the damage their plumber did to my home has been appalling. They have a lot of turnover and staff who do not seem very competent. The senior plumber that did my work has left this company. I DO NOTrecomend you do business with this company. They are non-responsive andunprofessional.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the fixture that was damaged by this company repaired so that it is fully operational. I will engage my own contractor and I would like them to cover the expense.
