Review: Company refuses to close my account.

I opened an online chat with this company and requested to close an account that I opened in error. I have no use for this account whatsoever. The representative I chatted with, [redacted], advised me that she could not close my account and gave me the phone number of [redacted] to call to have it closed. I insisted multiple times that I do not wish to make a phone call and would like her to forward my request to the appropriate department. She refused. I asked multiple times to chat with her supervisor and they refused to chat with me calling me unreasonable and closed the chat session on me. To make matters worse, I did call the number I was given and it went straight to some kind of voicemail. I find it incredible that a company I wish to do no business with is refusing to close my account. And the completely unprofessional attitude of this department and the cowardice of this supervisor who refuses to chat with me or even leaves their name is mind boggling to me. I am sure glad I do not report to a supervisor with no backbone as this representative does.
