*** *** had visited our salon in late September for a lightening treatment from Co-Owner *** ***She explained the possible outcomes of going that light in one sitting, and that artificial blonde hair is always more fragile than virgin or dark hair, and encouraged *** to purchase the
proper professional at-home hair products to maintain the health of her hair at home, which she chose not toIf her hair had truly been over processed at our the salon, the damage would not have occurred over the next few weeks- it would have been visible immediatelyThat is the result of improper at home haircare, and we are not liable for what client's do outside of the salonNonetheless, *** had emailed *** on November 16th, now almost two months after her original appointment - insulting her intelligence, her skills, telling her that she only cared about the money and not Diana, "Your actions speak volumes and it is all too clear that your main priority is the money and NOT your clients hair."and ending the email with "I can't help but feel like a full refund for the service plus tip would be appropriate, but I would be surprised if you were willing to accommodateIf you do decide to refund me, I will reconsider writing detailed reveiws on multiple sites." Then, *** prior to consulting with me, responded emotionally, that she would give her money back and that *** does not do hair for the moneyThen when this was brought to my attention, though I completely disagreed with the refund, (considering we have photos of Diana's hair when she left, she's smiling and her hair does not look even slightly damaged) *** had already agreed to it*** had paid us in cash, and we needed an electronic trail to prove that we had refunded herI reached out to get her Pay Pal information and we paid her $via Pay Pal for goods and services, which we didn't know but apparently takes days to process and deducts a $feeWe thought we were done, and *** was happy with her refundA day later she emails again saying she's going to refund the refund via Pay Pal and request that we pay her via a personal payment so she gets the refund soonerHaving enough with all this, we said fineOnce she refunded it, it took over two weeks to deposit the refund back into our account so we could send it againThis was over Thanksgiving where we were closed for the entire week and not open again until our regular business hours - TODAY, Wednesday 11/We have been consulting with our lawyer on how to handle this properly and with the holiday were delayed in our response to Diana, though she knew we were closed as I mentioned that explicitly in an email to herI emailed *** on SUNDAY while we were closed explaining we were speaking with our lawyer and were advised to stop communication, since then she has threatened suit as of yesterday and told us she'd give us a few days to respond, well it's been and we were speaking with our lawyer yesterday, and now I'm writing a response to the Revdex.com - so much for a few daysWe have every intention of paying her and putting this all to rest, with the understanding that she will not post any reviews on any sites about this experience and no one else on her behalf, which she has agreed to if we refunded her via Pay Pal regardless of their processing times and fees
