Greetings,This message is in regards to your complaint that was submitted to the Revdex.com on 2/14.  We do apologize for any inconvenience that we may have caused to you and your family.  It was not our intentions to provide you with less than stellar service.  On the day of pick up we did...

have disagreements.  It is normal procedure for us to revise a customer’s Printed Binding Estimate when the customer increases their inventory.  During pick up, you expressed to us your unwillingness to agree to the terms of our Interstate Revised Estimate.  We offered to revise the estimate because there was an increase in your inventory.  Your load size was 600 cubic feet if we loaded all of the extra items.  Your original Binding Estimate was 219 cubic feet.  There were several extra items that we listed on the day of pick up, for example, there were a total of 3 tv’s at your residence that were not on your original inventory.  In this case, the customer either agrees to off load the extra items or agree to a Revised Estimate.  There were no “fraudulent” activities occurring during your move.Lastly, we have returned your deposit as of today. Please check your account to confirm the refund within 5-7 days.  We appreciate your patience and have a good day.

Greetings,We did have a chance to speak with you yesterday 2/26/2015 in regards to your concerns.  The concerns that you had with our company conflicts with what actually happened.  Our representative as well as other staff have informed me that you reserved this job on Saturday 2/21 for a move scheduled the next day Sunday 2/22.  The deposit was sent to us on 2/21 when none of our staff in our office is working.  This is a dilemma for us if you reserve on Saturday by paying a deposit and then have us move you on Sunday.  We would not be prepared.  It is likely that we would need to properly assist you on Monday in this specific case.  This information was most certainly expressed to you by our sales representative.  This is the root of what caused the complications.  We are confused by your persistence for a resolution when there is nothing further for us to resolve.  We have returned all monies paid (the deposit) to you and we did not provide you with any service at any time.

The company has NOT sent the $150.00 refund mentioned to Revdex.com in response to the complaint. The sofa delivery was completed on 15 June 2015; the driver was unaware of a refund owed. I spoke with customer service on 15 June (Nicole - who was not informed of the situation until I spoke with her) and 16 June (LaTasha - aware but not helpful); the company has not provided details of why the refund was not sent in conjunction with the response to Revdex.com. LaTasha told me via the call on 16 June, the company would call when the money would be sent. Unacceptable and neglectful service. In the meantime, I expect the refund as documented.Thank you for your time and attention.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  
The issue is that no one returned my calls & I am delayed a week.  Then today due to this complaint I received a call at work and explained I cannot talk on the phone at work asked themto call me at 4 pm cst and the man said he would call me at 4 pm. on the dot.  I waited for the call and did not get a call.  I believe a business should do what theysay they are going to do.  I explained to the "moving manager" Steve that I am in [redacted] and don't exactly know how much stuff there is to move.  I listedwhat I could think of that I knew needed to be moved.  I told him I had moved the same exact load of stuff from ** to ** the same exact distance this summerand the load was 5 linear feet in a u pack semi trailer.  So they knew how much I needed to move.  He told me that it would be fine.  The movers arived and saidthat there was not enough room on their truck for the load so I said cancel it.  They were suppose to be there to pick up the load on Sunday morning between 8 am and noon.  They did not call to say they would not be there. I call the 800 number provided and no one answered so I left three messages. I called againthree times on Monday they did not answer the phone I left three messages again.  I called Steve the "moving manager" more than three times left messagesNEVER got a return call from either number nor from the responce to this complaint.  I did not know if this place was legitimate because of the total lack of communication after they took my payment of $293.50 (until the truck showed up a day late unprepared).  So as a result I had to pay my bank $35.00 stoppayment fee and I have been watching my account daily.  As of today the payment has not posted. I want my bank fee returned to me! I have suffered a fee and a massive delay in moving of my pregnant daughter and 2 year old grandchild's stuff across the country.  My daughter daughter and her familywill now have to sleep on the floor or I will (which mostly likely have to) spend more money buying air mattress for them to sleep on, a cost of about$100 dollars. Their responce made it sound like I did not communicate my needs and that is a bold faced lie. On the contrary! I communicated my needsprecisely! They had a few feet on a truck heading my way and wanted my money.  I am not accepting just an appology I want my expense refunded andan appology in a tone of voice that is not insulting.

Your complaint is accurate.  The check for $150 is currently in the mailing system.  The check was sent as of yesterday 6/18.  We apologize for the inconvenience maam.
