Review: I brought my dog into their practice in January 2013 because it was making gagging noises and also had had issues going to the bathroom. At first the dog was scared and barking and the Dr. muzzled her and while he physically examined her outer body and took some blood. But then he unmuzzled her and hand fed her cookies and rubbed her belly. I was a bit upset that the doctor would not examine her throat since I came in for choking issues and he seemed to dismiss my concerns. All he wanted to do was talk about her having an anxiety issue and did not want to care for the issues I brought her in forShe has never bit anyone ever and has not been aggressive around any other doctor. She has seen three doctors at [redacted] and also been given a rabies vaccine at a clinic in [redacted] and never had an issue. . I left very upset and he knew it. I also have Pet Plan Insurance and I was told they were going to submit my claim to the insurance. I found out in May that they never submitted it to the insurance and also found out that he had diagnosed her with anxiety issues and not for the gagging issue. He is not a licensed dr that deals with anxiety issues so he can't make that diagnosis. I not only spoke to the insurance co about this but also the office and was assured it was going to be taken care of again so that the insurance would cover this. I found out again that it had not been taken care of. It is appalling that a doctor's office can falsify documents and make false diagnosis to suit their means. Now I am out several hundred dollar because of this. Not only was the assistant [redacted] rude to me but so was the Administrator [redacted] who both raised their voice at me for wanting the correct information on the chart. If I bring my dog in for a problem that is what should be taken care of and put on the chart...not false information and when questioned about it then I am yelled at. The doctor should lose his license for falsifying a chart.Desired Settlement: I want my chart corrected and resubmitted to the insurance company so that my dogs services are covered. I did not bring my dog in for an anxiety issue and would have brought her to a trainer if that was the issue. I had already passed a training course at Petsmart in Paramus. If the doctor was so afraid of her and she had a anxiety issue and he feared for his life why then was he hand feeding her cookies with out a muzzles. He could have taken the muzzle off and walked out of the room. But he stayed for five minutes while I was talking to him and trying to find out why he wouldn't finish the exam on my dog and examine her throat. That is his job. I had to pay for his full services and didn't get a break on his services but to add insult to injury he falsified the chart and charged me for services he didn't perform. All dogs have some anxiety when they come for a visit but you don't make that the reason for the visit when it's false. I want this fixed right away!

Dr. June Hacker-Traiger is one of the most knowledgeable, caring and compassionate veterinarians I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Review: I brought my dog there in April because she was very sick and I didn't know of any other veterinarian that was open at the time as it was 7 am. I sat there and waited for them to take her in until after 9 am so in my opinion I shouldn't have been charged the emergency fee since it was then normal business hours. I was given a sheet that said what my bill might look like which was outrageous but my bill still turned out to be much more than that anyway. I had to leave and they kept calling me back telling me they had to do this and they had to do that it would save her life I was under the impression that my dog would make it if they did these things that they told me were necessary to save her life so I told them to do what would save her life. A few hours later I got a phone call that she didn't make it and right after they told me she didn't make it they said and I quote "now you need to come down so we can discuss the bill." In shock, I went to the hospital and she showed me a completely different bill that totaled almost $6000 and told me I had to pay for it now if I don't have cash I need to get the care care credit card. When I received my explanation of charges I called them and told them they needed to lower the bill because some of these charges were ridiculous. They lower it to slightly less than $4000. I then called them back a few weeks later to tell them I was being laid off for the summer so I had no way to pay my care credit please do not charge it and they kept calling me back to try to still charge it to my credit but I kept telling them to send it to collections and then a week later I see they charged it to my credit card and I called them several times and no one has given me a call back or ever even answered the phone now and it's been almost 2 months and I'm not getting charged interest and a lot of it and I can't understand how they can just do that to someone.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology and I need the charges to be reversed and I will need the interest on my bill taken care of also.
