I am rejecting this response because:November 15, 2017I did send a letter to the owner, and she responded with a phone call a week to days ago She did say John H [redacted] would call and come out to look at the problem againJohn H [redacted] and Todd did come out this morning (7-15-17) I explained to John H [redacted] and his supervisor, Todd, that while I understand that the driveway was a re-surface and cracks will appear: a) I did not expect such a severe crack within a month after re-surfacing; and b) No one returned my calls for more than weeks after my inquiries The owner told me on the phone that John H***, my salesman, was sick While I appreciate and understand John was ill and unable to respond, there is simply NO reason that someone else couldn't call me back for three weeks In my opinion, Tallmadge exploited someone's illness for a reason for not calling me back This is unacceptable Imagine my feelings after seeing the cracks so soon after the re-surface and then NO ONE responding for three weeks I spent over $6,for this repair I did have a chance to speak with Todd and John this morning They understood my disappointment and apologized I let it be known to them that I would not have Tallmadge come out in the Spring of to seal the driveway I will not deal with a company whose customer service is so poor I do not blame John H [redacted] for this poor customer service I blame Todd and Tallmadge Asphalt

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 8, 2015/10/06) */ Mr[redacted] called to complain about his sealer work that we had performedI went to his house the same day to look at the jobI did find that we had sealcoated over some debris on his drivewayThe edge by his house was done as I would have expectedThe sealer is within 1/inch of his foundation wall which is normalOur technician noticed some black material on his foundation wall and called his supervisor before sealing the drivewayHe took pictures of it to prove that it was on the wall before we sealcoatedAs Mr[redacted] stated, the foundation is to feet from the walkway that we did sealIt would not make sense that we got the sealer on his wallThe sidewalk that is in question leads to and continues underneath a deck that was obviously built over top of itWe cannot sealcoat under the deck as that would require our man to crawl under the deck with equipmentThat is just unreasonableOur man did the best he could by sealing up to the deck and under the bottom step which is how some sealer got on the deck step and postI did have him return and clean the sealer off of the step and post at the same time he touched up the debris in the drivewayMr [redacted] complained again about the sealer not being up close enough to the basement wallI took another supervisor with me to look at the job again just in case I missed something the first timeUpon second inspection, we found that all cracks were filled properly and the sealcoating job was done quite wellMr[redacted] has still to date not paid for the job Pamela S [redacted]
