Oral & Facial Surgery Center

Review: This office provided services for my daughter on 1-8-2013. These services had been preapproved by my insurance company prior to services rendered. After the service, the office manager, [redacted], stated that insurance did not pay for the total procedure after all and I was responsible for the remaining amount. For two years we have been trying to settle this account to no avail. On November 4, 2015 I received a call from a collection agency stating that I was needing to pay $2,829.00 for the services provided. This was the total cost of the procedure. After speaking with my insurance company, [redacted], they told me that Dr. [redacted] is an "in-network provider" and is contracted to only charge my account for the remaining balance of $1,329.00 since the insurance paid $1,500 to their office already. This office is not reflecting the insurance payment and is billing for the total account amount which is an overpayment on this account. After several phone calls and messages, this dentist office is not returning phone calls requesting itemization of charges and payments received. The only contact I have had is from a collection agency pressuring and threatening me for payment of $2,829.Desired Settlement: I would like to pay nothing because of the incredible amount of pain and conflict this office has placed on my family. I am willing to consider paying no more than the allotted in-network contracted amount of $1,329.00.
