I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
The first time I heard from Mr. [redacted] was  when he left me a text on Thursday the 4th that...

they were arriving on  Friday the 5th of Sept at 9am.  No courtesy call, just an assumption I would be available. I notified him that I would be working and not available.  His response was that if I couldnt accomodate him he wouldn't fix the issue with the roof.
I sent him a message by phone and a text reminding him of the contract and the warranty and days I would be available and gave him till the end of the month or he would be corresponding with my attorney. 
On Monday the 15th he sent two workers to replace the inadequate panels and replace the bad timber they attached the roof to. I told him I would let him know if I had any more problems with the roof since I have a 20 year warranty on workmanship.
I am grateful it has been replaced but dissapointed that it took 5 months for him to honor his contract putting me on hold while he took on other jobs.  I also found out from the workers he sent that 4 other homes had to be repaired by these two workers due to the poor workmanship he had employed.
