I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I am blown away by these acquisitions. I have phone records to prove everything if that's what it going to take. I have no problem not getting my money back or fixing the damage they have done. It's not about the money to me at all. I will not go back and forth with this company because he has made frightening threats to me. I have phone records to prove that as well and the attached picture is the threat from his personal phone number. I have since stopped all communication from him and the company as advised by the police department. My husband nor I have a [redacted] so we haven't communicated on there either. ThE owner should be red flagged and kept on record in case he does this with an other patron. All I ask is take a good look into this company because this is just bad business and should be graded an F in my book when he threatens clients that paid and wrote a poor review. I just want to make it clear I never asked for a replacement of my garage door nor the motor. The motor worked fine it just wouldn't stay shut it popped back up when it would close. All I asked was it be put back together  and enabled to how it was before they got there. As of right now I have to manually lift the garage door open and closed. The remote no longer works with it and the button inside the house doesn't work with it. I just gave birth 8 weeks ago and it is a huge inconvenience wit 2 kids under the age of 2. I am disappointed there are people in this world that pride themselves on hood business and completely make up lies like this. I wash my hands of these people.

On June 3rd, this customer contacted our office because she had motor that was not working. She wanted someone out the same day, she was advised prior to the technician being dispatched that we charge a service charge of $29.00 that would be deducted from any
service provided, that is a policy because we do not come out and do free quotes. The technician arrived on time. He had a look at the motor and because the motor was very aged, he said he could repair it however we could not guarantee the work because of the age
and condition of the motor. He gave her 2 option: repair existing hase a new motor. She said she would not afford it at this time. She was charged the service fee and paid it with no complaint.
The next day, June 4th, my office manager contacted this customer and told her we would deduct $100.00 for the repair. Her response was she thought that was reasonable and she would talk to her husband that evening and call me the next day. On June 5th, this customer called and claimed our technician had taken apart the motor and that her motor was not working. When our office explained the technician did no work on the motor, she started harassing the office, both her and her husband started calling and threatening our office manager with threats of attorneys and restraining orders. Saying that if we don't send someone out immediately, she would take us down on the internet and remove our 5 star status we worked very hard over 5 years to earn.  When the office stopped taking her calls, she started calling on blocked numbers, again threatening to post on the internet reviews that would damage our business. Although we tried to help this customer, she was wanting us to service her at no cost. We offered to return her service fee, but still that was not good enough. She wanted us to repair her motor for free.
She was true to her word, she has posted several disparaging comments on yelp, [redacted] and any social media she can find. Now after reading her complaint to you, not only is she trying to get a free brand new motor, she is asking for an amount to replace her garage door!
We are small company, family owned and operated. We pride ourselves in our customer service. We also know that we can not always make everyone happy, but we really do try. The evidence is clearly shown on our yelp page that we are 5 stars there, and those reviews are not purchased, they are earned. And we as a company have worked hard for this status, and this woman is some kind of an opportunist who is trying to threaten us with writing reviews so they she can receive free service. She has written 3 reviews on our yelp page, she has started a campaign against our company, we did little more than show up for a service call. She had no problem the 1st day of our arrival, not even the 2nd day, it wasn't until the 3rd day that all these new complaints came to the surface.
We are most likely going to speak to an attorney, as she is still prank calling the office on blocked numbers. She clearly states in her own complaint that her door was not working when we arrived, hence why she called us. The fact that clearly stands out is that she is now requesting a new door be granted her. As said previously, we went out, offered her options and she opted to decline our services, charged her the preapproved service fee. Normally that would be the end of it.
I would like you to look at our reviews and see how her response to us is a 180 degree difference from what our customers say about our service. We appreciate your time is writing to us and giving us an opportunity to respond. As I have said, she continues to harass our company in order to receive free service, and we were not willing to provide that to her.
I look forward to your response,
Sincerely,
OC Garage Doors

ill definitely use orange county garage doors again.

Review: My garage door worked fine it went up and down with the push of the button or clicker. When it got to the bottom it popped back up and wouldn't stay down unless I pushed the button to make it stop at the bottom. I called this company to fix the problem. A man came I open the garage for him he watched it go up and down a couple times and pushed the button himself and watched it do the same thing. I left him there while I went in my home. When he was done I came out and he had taken the plastic off the motor and took some pieces out. He told me he "thinks" the problem is in the motor and if he "tried" to fix it it would cost $280 no guarantees but if I bought a newotor it would cost $670. I thought both quotes were really high so I told him I'd check with my husband and called them if I need to the work to be done. He then chargede for giving the appraisal, then charged me a cc fee and then tried to charge me more than the fee cost but I called him out on it and changed it. I went back inside. I got a call 10 min later from his office saying they would drop the price $100 to fix. I went back out to move my car back in the garage and the garage door was shut. I wondered how he got out since it pops up unless u push the button. I pushed the button to open and it didn't open.he left the plastic off the motor and my garage no longer opens. I called to tell them to put it back how it was before and the owner yelled at me and said if they didn't fix it it's not their problem.I called the next day and the front desk lady apologized and said she would refund my money and I said I want them to come back and put it back to how it was before he got there. They said they would come back 3 days in a row and blocked out 2 hrs each time they gavee a time frame and they never showed up.My garage door is still unattached and broken worse than before they gave the appraisal.I put a bad review on yelp and I got a text from the owner threatening to not refund my money unless I take itdownDesired Settlement: Either they repair or replace my garage door and stop contacting me with threatening text messages
