try to make customer satisfied but the customer doesn’t want to pay anything for a job that was done by our technician.
The customer complaint about the price but he need to understand that there isn’t a flat price and prices vary from lock to lock, when we get a call we give starting price which is for the cheapest lock in the market most houses has higher quality locks but we can’t know exactly what need to be done only after our technician come to evaluate the job and of course the customer doesn’t have to agree with the price and in that cases we only charge the service call.
This customer call us for emergency lockout we send our technician as fast as possible, he gave the customer a price and customer sign on agreement ,after the job was done customer paid and signed on credit card receipt.
The customer called us to tell he is not satisfied with the price his wife was charged and we tried to offer him 100 dollar back just out of courtesy but the customer refused and said he want a full refund .
The customer need to understand that we not working voluntarily and his wife agreed to this amount, to write in a letter that his wife is under pain medication but from the other hand to say that they took a video of our technician while he worked sound a little suspicious.
We recommend the customer or his wife to be wise about his expenses rather to try to get money back for a service that was provided.
Best regards,
Orange county lock and key.

I called the night of event and offered to pay the original quoted price.
I called the following day and offered the same.
at that time I had no idea that they destroyed my door knob.
they never offered 100 dollars off but did offer a much smaller discount to go away.
their claim that prices vary from lock to lock?  explain to me how this is the case when all they do is show up and destroy the lock which took them 5 minutes to do?
again - I did not realize the night of or the following day that they drilled out and destroyed my lock.
my wife had just got home from hospital from shattering her Tibia and Fibula the week prior and was sitting in chair with her leg up recovering.  She was on pain meds from hospital.  I have several Nest cameras around house which one shows the guy talking to my wife with her leg up as I mentioned. we did NOT video him while he was working.
the lock was a inside door which I have shown another repair man and am told it is a very common lock.  the comment about prices vary would make a little more sense if he had done his job and picked the lock if it was a complicated lock but he simply drilled it out and destroyed my door knob which you can do to any lock regardless how complicated it is.
these guys are thieves not locksmiths and need to be stopped.
WE CALLED THEM TO PICK A LOCK WHICH THEY DID NOT DO.  THEY DRILLED IT OUT AND ARE CLAIMING THAT IT WAS A MORE COMPLICATED LOCK.  AN ABSOLUTE SCAM IS WHAT THIS IS.
