This customer called me to remove a dent and I quoted him $based on the photo he emailed me When I arrived and saw the dent in person, I informed the customer that based on the location of the dent, this was not a PDR job because it is located at the edge of the panel and using PDR
techniques and tools will likely crack the paint The customer said he was OK with that because on the chance that it does not crack, he will be glad to not have to take it to a traditional body shop As I had warned, the paint did crack
The customer was absolutely clear that this was not a PDR job and there was a risk that the paint would crack due to the location of this dent and he chose to have me take on the job anyway His EXACT words about that were: "no loss to me either way because if you don't take the job or if the paint cracks, I have to take it to a body shop And if it doesn't crack, I get away with paying bucks" So to be clear, whether the scenario was that I took the job and the paint cracked - it would go to the body shop OR if I didn't take the job - it would go to the body shop That's why he said to give it a try - because there was no loss to him either way - there was only the possibility of his gain He did not pay me and suffered zero loss
I, on the other hand, have been stalked, slandered, have had my advertisements and Craigslist postings flagged, and have been harassed by over text messages by this guy
I don't know why he said I "took off" I did not 'take off' The customer had potential buyers coming to look at the vehicle (which he said belonged to him, which is inconsistent with his statement in his complaint to you that it belonged to someone else) and upon their arrival, he shuffled me out of there WITHOUT paying me I wasn't going to charge him anyway because he seemed like a nice guy (at the time) and I felt bad that we didn't get lucky with the paint He didn't know that I wasn't going to charge him though, so in essence, he stiffed me!

I have used this company several times to remove dents in my vehicle, my husband's and also my daughter in laws. Each time, he has shown up when he said he would, he was courteous and he does a very good job. It's like the dent was never there. I don't know how he does it, it's like magic! Highly recommended company.
