Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Regards,
*** ***
The company never mentioned that they would charge for the 2nd laborer or that they were even going to send oneThey also never mentioned the wash out fee after I advised them it had been over years since the last pump outAs for the extra charge for the vacuum hose they said they could pump it without the extra hose it would just take longer due to the elevation change between the truck and the tankAfter he moved the truck to the new location he never said he needed more hose and would have to charge me for itI find it strange that after I complained they found all these extra charges that they say they "waived"Yes I should have complained right away but that does not make it right that they over charged me. Thanks for your consideration, *** ***

Mr***,We have included the information regarding the additional fees waived simply as a good effort on our part not to charge you any additional feesWe accommodate our customers by going the extra mile, sending additional help finding better ways to perform pumping more efficiently- all if effort to save our customers time and moneyWe have been in business for over years and have long standing accounts with many city and government agencies because of our ethical business practicesI am sorry that you feel that you were overcharged but that simply is not the caseYou stated in your own complaint that we were there for hours and minutes, we do not charge to the minute we round up to the next hourThat is common business practicePumping fee is a flat $for septic tanks located in Trabuco Canyon, I included fee schedule for the OCSD disposal site- $of that pumping fee goes directly to the dumpMeaning our company makes less than the dump fee on the pumpingThe labor cost was from 9am-12pm @ $95/hr for a sum total of $This was communicated clearly to you, services were rendered, you authorized service and credit card payment and signed our work order at time of serviceYou were charged accordingly to the work we performed and were not overchargedThank You,*** ***O.CPumpingInc

Good afternoon [redacted],Thank you for the communication and opportunity to respond to this complaint by Mr. [redacted]. Please, refer to all enclosed documentation to support our response. When Mr. [redacted] initially called for price quotes were given:$355 to pump septic tank in Trabuco Canyon (Fee...

includes Trabuco Canyon dump for Orange County Sanitation District - See OCSD fee schedule: 1500 gallon septic tank @ .12 a gallon= $180 dump fee)$95/hour labor (including excavation and any additional labor)Time on job: 9am - 12pm (3 hours labor @ $95/hr = $285 labor charge$355 pump septic + $285 labor = $640*Note- As a courtesy to this first time customer we waived the following: Tank has not been pumped in over five years having a massive solid content. *Waived $125- wash out fee OCSD*Customer did not state that any additional hose was needed in order to pump. Had to string 100' of vacuum hose across the creek in order to pump. *Waived $95- additional vacuum hose. *Additional man sent to help with labor and excavation to expedite time on job. *Waived $45/hr second laborer.Recommended intervals for septic tank pumping should be every 2-3 years. Customer signed work order and gave credit card authorization at time of service. Customer call to complain at 3:30pm in the afternoon of being overcharged. Once again we reiterated all the charges and customer confirmed our employees were there from 9am-12pm. OCP did not overcharge this customer, we waived all additional fees as a first time customer courtesy. Customer was well aware of the charge and could have opted to do excavation on his own. He was fully aware of all charge prior, during, and after all work was performed. At not time did he dispute the charges until 3.5 hours later. Thank you for your consideration. Please, let me know if I can further assist you with any additional information.Sincerely,[redacted]O.C. Pumping Inc.(714) [redacted]CA Lic #680704

Review: This company gave a Quote over the phone of $355.00 plus $95.00 per hour labor for digging. They had to dig for one hour and 45 minutes and were at the house for two hours and 45 minutes. They charged me for three hours labor plus the $355.00 for the pumping. The total bill came to $640.00. This is a serious overcharge.Desired Settlement: I request a refund of 118.25 for the excess labor they charged.
