Orange County Process Management Reviews (2)

I had a great experience with Orange County Process Management. I hired Orange County Process Management to serve documents for me. I had never needed to do this before, and Barbara was very patient and got the job done! All of my papers were served, and I won my case! I highly recommend Orange County Process Management for process serving.

295 Broadway costa mesa ca 92627 (is a private residence, the “office” is outside in the driveway).

(949) 646-2312 (is the phone number to one of her many business, when I first called, she asked me something about a tree, then quickly said “I have other businesses….”).

I spoke with Barbara and based on our first phone conversation, we agreed to meet at her “second office,” which is in her drive way, outside in costa mesa (although on the phone, she said it was her second office—purposely leading me to believe there was an actual office).

Regardless, I really needed to legally serve my spouse and she asked me how soon I needed it completed. Instead of responding, I asked her how long it typically takes her to have a person served. I was satisfied with her answer (said within 3 business days, with at least two attempts for the flat rate price).

Before I handed documents over, she agreed to my request (to have my spouse served between the hours of 6pm and 8pm). In fact, she said she will give my documents to a server that lives nearby, in Tustin, who usually serves people after work anyway. So, I paid her in cash and she gave me a handwritten receipt on the back of her business card.

The first attempt to serve my spouse was after 9 business days and during the morning (I specifically requested a specific time, since I knew those are the only times that I was sure my spouse would be present, and why was he not served within the first 3 business days)!!!

When guy ([redacted]) arrived for the first time, there was no missing his attempt—since he knocked loudly and was persistent.

I opened the door, and he immediately asked for my spouse. At which point I tell him that my spouse wasn’t home, and asked him if he was sent to serve him. To which he nods his head yes and says" yeah." Then I informed him that I was told he will do his first attempt within 3 business days, so I asked him why it has taken him so long. To which he responds, "it takes a while for the court to process paperwork before we get it". I immediately know he is lying because I had already filed paperwork with the court and I was the one who contacted them for their services. As he is walking away, I decide I cannot trust him or the agency (since they can’t follow simple requests nor keep their promise). So I call him back and let him know that I would like to cancel my request and asked him to give me back the paperwork. To which he says that he cannot give me the paperwork until he talks with Barbara, his boss. He leaves with my paperwork and I call Barbara myself within the hour.

When I called Barbara, I identified myself and let he know that I would like to cancel my request. When she asks me why I tell her exactly what had just happened that morning (exactly I wrote above), to which she says that she will need to speak to her server ([redacted]) and that we will need to schedule a time for me to get the paperwork because she first needs to get the paperwork from [redacted].

Due to difficulty in scheduling with Barbara, I was finally able to meet at her “second office,” again- which is in her drive way, outside in costa mesa. She greets me outside and hands over all the paperwork I had given her. She also hands me an invoice confirming the amount I had already paid and insists that if I wouldn't have cancelled services with them my spouse would have already been served. To which I reiterate that I didn't change my mind, I still need to legally serve my spouse but that I can't trust her or her servers and let her know it’s important especially because he may be called in to testify. To which she replies that she has been called in to testify about 10 times, but I insist the server couldn’t follow simple instructions and serve my spouse between 6pm-8pm not AM, he had lied to me at which point she interrupts me and gets defensive saying that she will always believe her servers 100% of the time and will never call them liars. So I ask if I may get my money back and she says no because her server made a few attempts, what?!!! She points to the invoices' comments. Apparently server stated that he had made two previous attempts, I was shocked that his dishonesty continued, and when I tell her that that wasn't possible because I was always home, even during the times the server said he came by, yet she again said her servers do not lie.

Well, Barbara I am the one who is telling the truth. You said that your server will attempt to serve my spouse within three business days, that didn't happen. Your server, even by his own admission did not even serve my spouse during the requested times. He lied to me when I asked him a question and he apparently lied to you as well by saying he had made previous attempt (or you conspired with him, to make sure you didn't have to return my money, I am not sure). You can't keep adequate records either, which I believe is important in the type of business you are in, (besides the lack of integrity, honesty, and capability) because I cancelled the same day your server came and your comments in the invoice indicate a different date.

From a customer service perspective, you refused to hear anything I said and insulted me when insinuating I wasn't telling the truth.

In short, you are not reliable, you are dishonest, and took advantage of my situation because you didn't give me a chance to defend myself and a fair chance to receive a refund. I live in a condominium which has video camorras--I don't have anything to hide.

I regret contacting them. They couldn't follow simple request, that they agreed to. They wasted my time, severely delayed my court proceedings, and anyone reading this shouldn't think this won't happen to you.
