I would have neverrrrrrrr done business with this company, had I known there would be a month PLUS delay I made that VERY CLEAR to the man who took the order and measured windowsI was planning on a week turn around, but was advised it would be weeks or sooner, due to the holidays (allowing a week each for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years) but that I would DEFINITELY have them installed by the first week of JanuaryI neverrrrrrrrrr heard from the company, so began calling the second week of January to find out when they would be installedThe son of the owner told me AT THAT TIME THAT IT WOULD BE IN FEBRUARY!!! I begged them to do something because I had a full calendar in February, wasn't planning on more of a delay, and this was costing me time and money pushing other workers back, and having to delay a work assignment I have out of townThe son could only laugh, and said, sorrywe need the PAINT TO DRY!!!! The man who came to measure and take the order was misleading, and assured me a first week of January install, at the latestAn additional 5/weeks is ridiculousMy neighbors ordered with another shutter company at the same timeThey received theirs in weeks, and they're beautifulweeks was a maximum waiting period, I WAS TOLDSo, this has really put a hardship on my home frontIn READING THE FINE PRINT on their contract, they screw their customer, tying their hands TAKING THEIR MONEY & you only have days from when the order is placed to cancelBUT, HERE'S THE ''ILLEGAL'' PART OF THEIR CONTRACT.......THEIR CLAUSE FINAL PAYMENT; All balances are due prior to installation! Installers are not permitted to install products unless they have collected all funds due! I BELIEVE IT'S ''ILLEGAL'' TO MAKE A DEMAND, UNTIL PURCHASE IS COMPLETE, AND INSTALLED I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN, AND I WILL MAKE SURE THAT MY ASSOCIATION RECEIVES WORD ABOUT THIS COMPANYTHEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL, AND DEFINITELY NOT CUSTOMER KINDIT IS ILLEGAL TO DEMAND MONEY FOR A TRANSACTION THAT IS NOT ''COMPLETE'', PERIOD

I contacted you prior to this in my name, *** *** representing my year old mother *** ***.This company is causing a nightmare in our homeWe ordered shutters NovPROMISED INSTALL WEEKS AT THE LATEST FOR JAN1ST INSTALL! When I contacted them the second week of January, they were telling me I couldn't get delivery until February, due to the holidays (which were accounted for when I ordered, and was told weeks wasn't possible and it would be the first of Jan''WEEKS'' PROMISED) Then, I was told MY ORDER WOULD BE READY the end of January, the end of the week of the 30thI requested install date, but was INFORMED, NO INSTALL DATE IS POSSIBLE UNTIL ORDERS IS KNOWN COMPLETE!!! This has caused extreme hardship on my home frontI work in the field, and have had to cancel and reschedule assignments, and workers, costing me money in fines, and with MY JOB IN FIELD RESEARCH!!!Last week, ORANGE COUNTY SHUTTERS CALLED TO TELL ME MY ORDER WAS COMPLETE AND WOULD BE INSTALLED, SCHEDULED INSTALL FOR TODAY FEBRUARY 10TH AT AM! Last night, hours before this install, after I've scheduled much needed work behind this, and myself for out of town, they call and said my order isn't readyI had already moved heavy plants IN PREPARATION FOR INSTALL, BECAUSE THEY CHARGE YOU IF IT ISN'T, and scheduled my carekeepers around this install, AGAIN FOR NOT!!! My mother is sickCarpet needed cleaning months ago, but I'm waiting for this install, now pushed further back, yet again!!! My mother can't be in dust and dirt, and they've caused some serious help problems, & financially,& physically, and my stress level is off the charts with their DELAY! THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I'VE EVER DONE BUSINESS WITH, BAR NONE!!! I was to hear back last night as to what the ''problem'' was on an order they said was complete, and now say not!!! But, only after I snapped this morning, did I get a "text" from owner ***, telling me she had to take sons car in, and order not ready.I do NOT WANT THESE PEOPLE IN MY HOME, NOW.THEY HAVE COST ME A SMALL FORTUNE WAITING FOR THIS UNACCEPTABLEPATHETIC BUSINESS PRACTICE.I HAVE SCHEDULED MY WEEK, FOR THE SECOND TIME AROUND THIS AND AM GOING FORWARD WITH CARPETS GETTING CLEANED, AND MY OUT OF TOWN WORKI CANNOT WAIT ANY LONGER.I WANT MY MONEY BACK.AND YES, I THINK IT BEST TO FLAG OTHERS NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.THIS HAS BEEN A NIGHTMAREI'M AND DON'T NEED THE STRESSMY MOTHER IS AND CERTAINLY DOESN'T NEED IT

An additional 5/6 weeks is ridiculous. My neighbors ordered with another shutter company at the same time. They received theirs in 2 weeks, and they're beautiful. 6 weeks was a maximum waiting period, I WAS TOLD. So, this has really put a hardship on my home front. In READING THE FINE PRINT on their contract, they screw their customer, tying their hands TAKING THEIR MONEY  &  you only have 3 days from when the order is placed to cancel. BUT, HERE'S THE ''ILLEGAL'' PART OF THEIR CONTRACT.......THEIR CLAUSE FINAL PAYMENT; All balances are due prior to installation! He was again verbally abused and harassed via text messaging. We are not not delaying anything on purpose and are trying our best. We are willing to offer a small compensation to help ease her mind. Per the contract there is no compensation or cancelations due to the fact that these are custom made and were purchased on sale, however a small compensation of $100.00 will be offered this one time only. This customer must allow us to install the shutters and pay the remaining balance in full in order to comply with our offer.
