Customer brought vehicle in on Feb with white smoke out of tailpipeDiagnostics showed a blown head gasketCustomer was advise that the head gasket had to be replacedIt was also suggested that a valve job be done relative to the miles on the vehicleCustomer stated he could not afford a
valve job and just wanted the head gasket replacedCustomer was also advised that his coolant sensor in the overflow bottle failed and customer declinedCustomer was advised the light would continue to stay on until he replaced the sensor.Customer returned several weeks later complaining that he was getting smoke out of tailpipe, we diagnosed and found it was blue smoke,, not whiteIt was explained to the customer that blue is oil and white is coolantThe blue smoke was due to loose vavle guidesCustomer was reminded that he declined a valve job and that this would remedy the blue smokeWe explained that since customer declined the valve job, we could charge for the whole job again, but, willing to work with our customers, we offered as a goodwill to not charge him the labor involved to remove the cyl headCustomer agreed to pay for the parts and machine work for the valve job.Throughout the whole process, the customers girlfriend would inject herself into the conversation stating that we should have rebuilt the engine the the original $She continued to verbally abuse, condemn and threaten everyone at the shopShe would go into the work area and berate the techniciansUpon receiving the vehicle the last time, she made clear that she would "bury us" and verbally stated she would do physical harm to usHer final statement to us was, "I hope you all rot in ***, you mexicansShe would use every expletive known along with physical gestures.As a final note: she is not the authorized party or owner of the vehicleshe is not even family to the owner.In conclusion, the owner of the vehicle authorized all work done, and profusely apologized for his girlfriend's action

First of all in regards to the accusations of barging in and constantly screaming and interrupting as well as insulting everyone those are all accusationsI do not understand why grown men that "own" a business would act and say things like thatWhen a car is taken to a shop the first time and once paid for the repair and the car leaves with the same issues, then the shop should not charge again for the same repairs, correctAs you can see on the receipts the claims we had done both times were based on exactly the same thingThe mechanic changed and replaced items on the car without our permission or consentNeither did he "***" call *** to ask for permissionEvery time *** would call, *** would refuse to answer the phone and only text him back and we have all the text showing that *** would say "we are trying to work on the car on our spare time since we are doing you a favor, you are only going to pay for the parts", my response back to *** was, we already paid them $they should fix the car without any extra chargesWhen the car was picked up the second time, after I had made another payment with MY CREDIT CARD, in the amount of $the car leaks red fluid, which is either the transmission fluid or the power steering fluidSupposedly the power steering pump was changed and we never were asked if we wanted to change itNow the a/c which used to work wonderfully now is not working at allThe car is making strange rattle noises from the wheels any time it drives, makes a left or right turn as well when it drives backWhat are they expecting for us to do, take the car back to them to pay another 1k or 2k for more things they claim they fix, and the car has more and more issuesThis is the biggest scam in mechanics I have ever seenYes, I have stopped payment on my card for the $since the car still has problems and I refuse to keep on paying for repairs that were not done and the car comes back with other. Like I have said on my original and first claim, I want a full refund of $2007.99, plus these $and $2k in damagesI need to take the car to a real mechanics shop to get it fixed properlyThis refunds needs to be done right away, so we can get the car fixed quicklyThank you

As per your requestattached you will find the note of authorization of me filing the complaint against Orange Empire, as well as the title and registration of the owner.Like I have mentioned to you before the car is still leaking and leaving a big puddle of red fluid from either the transmission or the power steering Pump that was changed on the car without our consentBesides this issue the car makes a weird squeaky noises when driving down the street making any kind of turns either left or right and in reversalIt never made these noises before, so I really do not know what these guys at Orange Empire did to the car for it to make these noisesI assume so we take the car back and they will charge us after having it for another month or two another to hundred dollars. These mechanics also cancelled the air conditioning the mercury hadThis car had a nice and very cold A/C now it does not work any more nor does it even blow airSeems like every time this car goes back to this shop they say they fix something but not only they do not fix what the car had come in for they break a few more things so the car comes back and back like a cancerNever seen such bad serviceNow we are waiting for your help and response so we can get a refund of the entire work done on this car and we can take the car to a real shop and have the car fixed properly. Thank you so much for your help.*** ***

In response to the customers last response. We have tried to explain as clearly as possible what is involved in the repairs made. Unfortunately, the customer girlfriend is locked on to only what she thinks and unwilling to consider the facts or truth. It is obvious that nothing will make the customers girlfriend happy.We are still willing to look at the power steering leak. Based on the conversation with the owner, he was aware of the ac not working. And now there is an addition to the concerns with the noise when turning. We performed repairs for blown head gasket. If the customer is willing to bring back the vehicle for power steering leaks, we will be happy to look at the noise stated.This repair shop feels that it was more than fair with the customer and does not feel any reimbursement is due. If the vehicle has concerns, the repair shop has the right to remedy any concerns it may have caused. The owner of the vehicle is welcome anytime to have his vehicle looked at. The girlfriend, on the other-hand is not.

In response, the owners girlfriend did not have authorization at the time of repairs. the owner would actually make her leave the shop so that the owner of the car and the repair shop can have a calm conversation. She would constantly barge in and a screaming at the top of her lungs argument would ensue in our customer lounge. Insulting and vulgar words were exchanged between the two and no forward progress would be attained. The girl friend was never in the conversation about what was wrong, what was to be done or what was recommended and declined.Again, the girlfriend is basing her premise on incorrect information and will not listen to either the boyfriend or the shop. This was not a engine overhaul, this was a blown headgasket. the valve job was recommend and declined. the smoke out of the engine the second time was blue, not white. The first visit repair are legitimate and agreed upon by the owner of the vehicle.On the second visit, the valve job could have been a complete charge to the customer because he declined the service the first time. When we offered, as a goodwill, to not charge the labor, the owner of the vehicle thanked us profusely for helping him on this matter. On the power steering pump, we found the pulley broken and would have torn the serpentine belt to shreds. we replaced the pulley, but during the removal of the pulley the snout of the pump cracked. the pump was also replaced. during the replacement of the pump, we noticed the power steering hose was frayed, so the hose was replaced. The customer was made aware and agreed that he would pay for parts. We covered the labor. If there are an leaks in the power steering, we would need the vehicle returned to us to stand behind our work. that has not happenned. We have tried to contact the owner with no response. The noises heard can be that the fluid is low. If they continue to drive the vehicle without addressing this, the power steering pump will burn out and we will not be able to honor the warranty on the pump. this would be considered abuse on the pump. We discussed with the owner the matter of the air conditioning and that we found a locking vise grip on the housing under the dash preventing the blower motor from working. the owner stated he was aware of this and said we did not have to do anything about that.  the owner of the vehicle was agreeable and willing to pay the charges that were discussed at the point of pickup. The girlfriend again began her verbal abuse and bullying. using expletives that cannot be written here. Her perception of what transpired and what actually happened are two complete different stories and have driven her to react in a hatefull manner. She has promised to "bury us" "kill us" and other terms that have caused us to consider a restraining order. We feel we have been more than fair to this customer. The customer wants reimbursement, but did not state that she has reversed all charges on the second repair, so not only did we good will the labor but the $1184.00 in parts and machine shop charges that the owner of the vehicle authorized have been reversed out of our merchant account.
