Orange Installers

Review: I currently have a dispute for credit not received with Orange Installers via Sears (Orange, CA) for a water heater installation charge; this began in January '14. I was told that I would not be charged until the work was completed.After installation, we were told that we needed to have additional piping attached to the water heater going under the floor surface - under the house and out the side of the house in case of leaks. We were asked for our credit card # and we were told we would NOT be charged until the entire job was completed - they said that having the credit card number up front would be easier for billing on their end. When we received the credit card bill for the month, we saw $569.00 was charged to our card as if the piping job had been completed; this was incorrect. Orange Installers was notified and they denied our comments saying the job was done. This charge is incorrect - had the job been completely done, the following would have taken place:1) there would be holes drilled into the floor surface, 2) there would be copper piping attached to the water heater, going through the floor surface - under the house, and out the side of the house.Fact: Orange Installers told us we had two options to consider and that we didn't have to make the decision on the spot: 1) we use Orange Installers to add copper piping - attach copper piping to the water heater which travels under the house and out the side of the house. 2) we have someone else install the piping using another material other than copper OR have the installation done at a later time once we had time to review options.Before we were able to make a decision, we were billed in full for work not fully completed.Desired Settlement: Refund Credit for work not done - $465.00
