In October 2016, I put in a service call for pest control to the management office for the HOA where I liveI told them that the I had ants and beetle larvae Orange Pest Control responded and sent a tech who told me when he came to treat the place, that the spray he would be using would kill 'everything' I beg to differ on this as it is not my first time around with beetlesI tried to explain to him that ants spray will not kill beetle larvae but it was futileI asked him if he knew what the beetle larvae look like and he said "yes, like little beetles, right?"I watched him treat along the walls where they meet the floor and told him that the ants were actually coming up out of tiny holes in the grout of the very old tile in the floor and he said "don't worry, it will kill them" Well, a week later when I saw the ants getting worse, I treated them myselfBefore he left, I made a final attempt to make my point re the beetles and their larvae so I pointed out a hole in the baseboardHe used a pin to open it up and beetle frass fell outHe claimed that this was termite activity and he would have the office call me to setup termite treatmentI never heard anything from them
It is now January 2017, the ants I treated have returned and the well established wood-boring beetle larvae are now eating down my furniture along with everything else which includes food, me and my catsI placed a call for service a week ago and they sent the same tech who went through the same routine minus mention of the termitesYesterday, I called the pest control office to complain that everything is still here and the rep said she would send a supervisorBased on what I described to her, she said I might have 'pasta beetles' I asked her if this supervisor would have a magnifying glass because the beetle larvae are very tiny and she said "he will have whatever he needs to do the job'Today, the "supervisor" arrived, knew nothing about why he was here other than a service call and had no magnifying glass so I loaned him mineWhat a joke he wasFirst, he saw "nothing"After I gave him the magnifying glass, everything was just "something but not beetles"All he knew about beetle larvae was "they are little white things"I took him into a room where the floor was covered with what he called "little pieces of glass" I explained to him that these were newly hatched beetles but he (not knowing what they were) said "not beetles, no." Well, what are they?? He had no answerRoom by room, I showed himHoles in the furniture and some type of larvae in the foodHe saw nothing in the food and everything else was "termites"In the end, despite my showing him some larvae that looked like worms, he said it was my imaginationHOWEVER, he would inject my badly eaten furniture if I paid him $This was just to "save the furniture because it is so nice and the company doesn't inject furniture"When I hesitated, he said he had just done it for another lady in my development and she was fine with itBUT, not to call the office for anything pertaining to the furniture injection because another person did and the company found out (and he still works there?)I told him I had to go to the atm and he said he would return in minsIn that time, I thought why should I have to do this?? When he came back, I told him I would not do it and would also hold on to my "samples" that he was taking back to the office with him (I thought they wouldn't get there)He made a point of telling me that no other company in Ft/L will do this for me and that they are "the best"Really?? This young and ignorant 'supervisor' made several personal observations about me, including the fact that I have a very big bed that he would love to have and "why does a woman sleeping alone need such a big bed anywayWhat do you do in it?" I never mentioned I was aloneHe also used what I consider to be profanity while we were speaking albeit '***'I have received very, very poor service from this company and would never recommend that anyone use them
One of the worst companies they came out and drilled holes like a 5year old in my fiber glass and metal moldings then put cocking to cover the holes customer service is bad I would never recommend this company I have had several reoccurrences of termites even after their treatment but they continue to tell me I have a warranty the warranty will not cover if the termite continue to chew my house up only that they will come out and spray it again so it defeats the purpose of having them comeThis company is unable to properly treat and cause visual damage in there process of treatment
