Review: We went to this facility on July [redacted] 2014 and July ** 2014.My son((he is a minor) was at CAMP and they brought him here because he was not feeling well.we were notified and went by the camp that's where they took him to get checked. We went immediately.we checked on our son.I was asked for information and identification and INSURANCE information which was given. In the interim I started to receive letters and calls from the billing department and each time I gave them the information for my insurance the end result is this facility did not submit the insurance information that was given to them SEVERAL TIMES and now the account has been sent and is in collections and IT HAS BEEN REPORTED ON MY CREDIT REPORT.This is a serious issue as it has impacted my credit report overall I take my responsibilities very seriouly and I pay my bills however the collection agency then has requested my insurance again which at this point I gave them however my credit report needs to be cleared and have this removed this was of no fault of my own the hospital DID NOT SUBMIT THE INFORMATION EVEN THOUGH IT WAS GIVEN ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION; FROM THE FIRST TIME JULY * 2014 the original date of service but yet not apply or submit the information and makes it appear as though it was not given when requested and we went again on July ** 2014. I am extremely disturbed by the lack of professionlism and mistakes with the billing department.THIS NEEDS TO BE TAKE CARE OF IMMEDIATELY.THANK YOUDesired Settlement: To please have it removed from my credit report.Due to the mistakes that this facility made and the account was sent to collections when it shouldn't have been.THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN PAID IN FULL. Due their oversight I am paying the price for their neglect

Review: I am filing a complaint against ORMC in reference to a hospital stay from January ** through January ** 2016. The issue is regarding the way they handle my medical coverage and because of this I am facing a major finical hardship. I am presently receiving my medical cover through the Veteran Administration and have been for a number of years and any time I have been admitted into a hospital the bill was paid for by

the Veteran Administration. While in the ER for chest pains and other medical conditions it was deemed necessary to admit me which resulted in an administrator talking down all my information to be admitted into ORMC. When the person got to insurance coverage they said it showed Medicare at which point I corrected them and said my primary coverage was with the Veteran Administration. The person I assume updated the field because they confirmed the address of the Veteran Administration where they should process the paper work. Please keep in mind over the past few years I have had nemours emergencies which required me to be admitted into the hospital, February **, 2012, February *, 2013, April * 2014, and May *, 2014, which where all paid by the Veteran Administration.

I received a call 2 days after being released from ORMC from [redacted] that I had a co pay due from Medicare at which point I advised her I did not have Medicare coverage. [redacted] said I had Medicare as of 2013 to which I informed her I had called Medicare once I received acceptance of Medicare and told them I did NOT want the coverage as I was being covered by the Veteran Administration. I also had received conformation from the Veteran Administration that my medical coverage was with them as my primary.

I later received a letter from [redacted] that stated she contacted the Veteran Administration stating the bill should be paid by Medicare as that is my primary. What I think happened is someone called the Veteran Administration and asked who do they bill, the Veteran Administration or Medicare. The Veteran Administration will always differ to any other insurance before they will pay. The issue is that from 2013 the “option” for Medicare has always been there but as I said I did not want it as I was being covered by the Veteran Administration and I know they do not cover each other. So why would I choose a coverage which did not give me the best coverage? Also after telling ORMC that my primary coverage was with the Veteran Administration why even bring up I was eligible for Medicare, which over the past 3 years I have never used or even logged on the site after calling them in 2013 to drop the coverage (which is another problem I have with them).

I want to know who gave ORMC permission for them to choose which medical coverage

they want to bill. Because of this issue I am facing thousands of dollars in medical bills which under the process I have been using for years I did not have to face. I now have to find out with the Veteran Administration what my status is now and try to clear up this problem which before this was not an issue.

I no longer feel I can visit any hospital for any medical assistance no matter how minor or major the issue may be because in the back of my mind I have to worry about how does this get paid ever with “Medicare”. I can not take on such problems because it is now affecting my mental status as well as my health. To be honest I don’t know how to deal with this problem now created by ORMC because they did not follow my instructions.

They have created enormous amounts of stress I now need to deal with for months to come. All the hospital knows now is that I owe them money and they have created an issue they can not reverse because they can not go back to the Veteran Administration and say sorry we filed the wrong wayDesired Settlement: I feel due to the hospital miss handling of this issue I am not responsible for any finical issues encored. Why should I pay for something if filled as I had asked this would be a now issue but now I have months of issues to resolve because of this.
