I rented a room from this hotel on 8/9/19. The first room was roach infested, filthy and every light socket spark and lights were flickering on and off (photos available). I contacted the front office to complain about my conditions and they switched me to room 224 which was filthy aslo. The TV was broken in this room so they switched me to room 220 and this room was roached infested,filthy, every electrical outlet spark when I tried plugging in my cell phone and the toliet seat was broken off (photos available). I called the front office to inform them off this and the gentlemen said there is not he can do because the owner were gone for the night that I had to reach out at 7am in the morning. I did not leave the room because I had a few drinks and did not want to be driving in that condition. When you first walk-in to check-in the is a signed taped to the window that says "NO REFUNDS". I explained to the owner why I did not check out because I was drinking already and didn't want to drive while drinking and I also explained to him that if I would have known that your rooms were roach infested that I would have not rented a room. He told me sorry that there was nothing he could do.
I do have photos of the roaches, dirty rooms, light switches broken, toliet seat and I left there nasty room in good condition I have photos.

Hi ***Thank you for notifying us about the complaint filed by *** 1*** (***).Customer *** was given room number 132. When she called and complained about the room, the front desk executive changed her room immediately to ***. Room number *** didn’t have any issues except that the TV wasn’t working. The front desk tried to fix the TV and since it was taking time, the customer was offered to switch the room to ***. Room number *** was in good condition and it didn’t have any problems like the customer stated. She came at 8.30am in the morning and demanded a refund. She wasn’t given a refund because she stayed all night in the room and demanded refund at the checkout time. She was claiming refund on the pretext of roaches in the room but the last room that she was moved into (***) at 08:38 PM, there was no issue. Since she stayed in the room all night, she wasn’t given a refund. Customer’s claim of broken toilet is not true since our housekeeping reports any broken article and that day nothing was reported. Customer was in the influence of alcohol, extremely rude, and kept threatening the staff about the dire consequences if we failed to refund her. When the refund wasn’t processed, she broke the Toilet seat and we had to replace it. Please let me know if you have any questions or require any additional information. I am rejecting this response because:
The statement from Orange Show Inn is false about me being rude and threatening the staff. I was in full contact with my Credit Card company about all the issues that I was having with this hotel and all those calls were recorded. It's easy to say I was drunk because I admitted to having a drink and choose not to drive. There are serious consequences for drinking and driving and as an adult I stayed put for my safety and others. I did not expect to rent a hotel that was invested with roaches or to have a broken toilet seat.. Also, I asked to speak to the manager that night the attendant stated he was gone for the night and there was nothing he could do until the morning when the manager comes. So my hands were tied either way and that is why I contacted my credit card company that night and morning for my protection. The statement from *** Thaker does not make any sense. (attached report)*** says: The toilet was not broken when housekeeping entered the room which means this had to be after check-out time when the housekeeping inspected the room and right after check-out I contacted Capital One regarding my stay at this hotel and since this is a recorded call it will show I was calm and respectable about the situation. I was not charged any fees for late check-out or for any broken articles if that was the case. *** says: I was extremely rude because they did not refund my money and that's when I went back and broke the toilet seat. How is that so if housekeeping did not report any broken articles that day? The 1st photo attached: Taking on 8/10/19 at 10:45 a.m. In the above statement from *** states housekeeping did not report any broken articles that day. I did not break the toilet seat it was like that when I entered the room that is why I took photos.The 2nd photo attached: Taking at 8/10/19 at 11:01 the room is in perfect condition when I leftThe 3rd photo attached: Report from the San Bernardino Health Dept stating they found a dead roach room 220.The 4th photo attached: The roach in room 132All proof is attached I was not rude and believe I handle myself accordingly. I have all the facts! I rented a room to relax not to fight off roaches and have to deal with broken toilets. Believe me I would have never rented this room if I would have known of these conditions and the first thing you see when your checking in is "No Refunds". I wonder why?

The customer was rude and kept threatening the staff. I dont think the complaint stands any ground but In the interest of time and in spirit of goodwill, we have decided to reimburse her in full. Customer has filed a charge back and we will reimburse the client in full.
