I have been an Orange Tree Utility customer for years For years I have either mailed a check in or brought a check into the office for payment For years when I brought a personal check into the office for payment I was kindly issued a receipt as proof of payment Everything has been fine Today, when I brought a personal check into the office the clerk refused to give me a receipt There was no explanation other than "I do not do receipts." For most of the past, I was issued a paper receipt out of a receipt book Recently my paperwork was stamped with a "PAID" stamp, with the clerk's initials I was very surprised with the treatment I received today The clerk's name is Kimberly T I asked several times for a receipt and all Kimberly T would say was "I do not know you." She then drew a happy face with letters pd on my paperwork and said that this was my receipt I thought that this was very rude and discourteous to a longstanding customer I was trying to discuss this with her when she grabbed the paperwork from my hand and threw it into her garbage can She will say that I threw the paperwork at her, but the security tape will clearly show that she grabbed it out of my hand I stood for some time in the office waiting area not knowing what to do, hoping I would get some proof of payment She completely ignored me on several occasions when I asked for a proper receipt I overheard her complain to someone on the phone that I was being rude At no time did I raise my voice or say anything inappropriate I further overheard her say that if I stayed in the waiting area till closing, that she would be happy to lock me in the office at night This type of conversation with a third party is completely unprofessional and unethical By this time I had no faith that she would properly process my personal check I was afraid that she just might terminate my account out of spite I still desired some type of proof of payment, so I used my cell phone to go online and pay the bill through PayClix This processed successfully I had now double payed my account I calmly asked for my check back along with the paperwork she threw away Ms Tfinally gave me my check back, but she refused to give me the paperwork back Her justification for not giving me my paperwork back was that I was rude I did stay in the office waiting area for an extended period of time However, at no time did I raise my voice, at no time did I say anything that was uncalled for or inappropriate, at no time did I say anything threatening I was not asking for anything that I had not received for the past years The person who was rude was Kimberly T There was never any explanation for the apparent change in policy regarding receipts Ms Twas the one who drew a happy face on my paperwork Ms Twas the one who discussed me with a third party over the phone and threatened to lock me in over night Ms Twas the one who refused to give me back my paperwork She was probably covering up for the happy face she drew Ms Thas no concept of proper customer service and being kind to people This was the first time I interacted with her I hope it will be the last time She should not be in a position which deals with the public

An account number error occurred on the check and the company will not make the correction and the payment was applied to another account
We are a personal property management company who pays bills for several Orange Tree Utility clients We sent a check for payment of water for account number *** along with the voucher provided with the invoiceA typo occurred and the reference on the check was account number *** The owner received an e-mail indicating his water will be disconnected due to lack of payment We provided the office manager, Kimberly Thornton, with a copy of the front and back of the cashed check Kimberly stated she will not make the correction to the accounts In other words, the payment was applied to another account The absolute unprofessional attitude of Kimberly is not acceptableShe should not be working in customer service

I couldn't believe me ears I asked if I should come into the office to resolve the paper work and she said I would do so at my own risk I was quiet I believe she has a psychiatric problem and I was so shocked that I felt sorry for her I am also afraid that she might have a hand gun and shoot because of the Florida Stand Your Ground Law and her lack of psych issue, I'm a Canadian and this is a genuine fear......a crazy person with a gun I'm considering going to Orange Tree with a Sheriff to take care of this issue
