The WORST handling of customer service. Their policy for cancelling membership contrasts verbally from what they have you sign. On July 9th, we sell our home and I walk into Orange Theory to inform them that we are moving and to cancel our membership...I am told that my billing date is July 29th, and that that is my final day of coming in. I walk out and go home. 3 weeks later, my wife (who's account billing date is July 22nd), gets billed again for the upcoming month. We were confused because we had gone in to cancel our membership weeks earlier....We get informed from the manager that '30 days notice is necessary' before canceling a membership. They informed us that the cancellation memo we signed stipulated those terms, as well as the original 20 page membership packet that we originally signed from 7 months ago...HOW the staff does not verbally say "you must have 30 days notice before cancelling, and that your account will be charged for the following month' is beyond me. No communication. This is horrible. WHY are we paying 220$ for an extra month when we are not physically in the same city'!?Called the manager, and operations manager asking for a refund or modification of payment...was told absolutely not. This is a horrible company policy. In effect, they are saying a person needs to know 60 days in advance that they want to cancel a membership? HOW does that make sense'???
