Review: My wife and I purchased a dining table set from Cymax within the last month. While I was simply sitting on the bench, the top of the bench split down the grain making the bench useless. The company agreed to take the dining set back and provide a "refund". They are going to charge us an $86 "restocking fee" and it is going to cost us over $200 to ship the item back to the company. The item itself cost around $350, at this point we will only be getting back around $70 for buying a defective product. We have tried working with both [redacted] and Cymax to resolve the return shipping expense but we have only grown frustrated with the lack of help we have received from these companies. Due to the fact the item is less than a month old when it broke I feel we should not have "eat" the $286 dollars in shipping and restocking fees because Cymax sells faulty, cheap products that they play off as quality items. Please help.Desired Settlement: We would like Cymax to provide shipping boxes and cover the shipping cost, along with waiving the restocking fee, and provide a full refund since their product broke under normal operating conditions within a short period of time.

Review: On 11-24-14 I ordered a Wood Coat Rack on line. The item was received around 12-5-14. I contacted the company through their replacement email because the coat rack was not manufactured correctly. There are three wood curved legs that screw together with a base in between and the holes were not drilled correctly so the coat rack stands crooked. First I called and they said they would send out a replacement right away and someone would contact me to return the defective one. About a week later I received an email asking me to send them pictures of the coat rack, packaging, etc. I sent them a picture and told them again there was no damage in packaging, that it was manuf wrong. I also told them if they did not want to replace it, just send me a return label. I was assured it would be replaced. Another week or so later I received another email saying the manauf wants to know what part is defective. I told them again it was not manuf correctly, that the holes are not drilled right.I was assured I would hear from someone in 24 hours. I have not gotten a resolution at all on this.Desired Settlement: I would like to return the coat rack, pre-paid label from them. And, I would like my $88 refunded. The local furniture store sells these for a little more, but I can at least look at the item before I buy it and make sure it right.

Review: On 8/2/13, after complying with [redacted] Returns Dep't/ Orbit Logistics Returns Policy, I was provided with a return shipping label.On 8/4/13, the merchandise was returned intact. On 9/9/13, I called to find out why I didn't receive the promised refund. A representative who gave his name as [redacted] advised that the refund will be processed in 2 days. No refund was still not received by 9/16/13. I called again, and this time(9/16/13)there was an automated response that the Customer Service Department was closed. The closing statement in the automated response cynically thanked the customer for shopping with [redacted].Desired Settlement: I am requesting the promised refund of $207.00
