Florence Telephone purchased that exchange from TDS & began billing January 2015. During the conversion from TDS, the correct billing rate for [redacted]'s promo did not convert. We discovered the error during one of many audits we conducted 8 months after the conversion. We corrected the mistake, contacted [redacted] and moved forward. We are under no obligation to honor the promo rate offered by TDS and there is NOT a contract between [redacted] and Orchard Farm Telephone. We are not TDS. [redacted] received free internet service for 8 months. After discovering the error, we had 2 choices: back bill or go forward. We chose to go forward. The statements we mail at the first of every month are very clear and concise with our company name plainly printed on them: Orchard Farm Telephone Company. It's been explained to [redacted] on more than one occasion what his monthly charges will be. Those supporting documents are attached, one being what [redacted] considers to be a contract. We do not.
