My son went to family therapy here, which I was unaware of at the time. It was for family therapy for his mom,and her husband, ***. When his mother didn't pay thebbill my sons mom told them it was my bill and gave my information to the therapist. The therapist fraudulently put my name on the bill, when I called to explain the situation that I wasn't responsible. She fraudulently changed the bill to individual therapy. Now shes sent it to collections and is ruining my credit. This therapist should lose her license, and go to prison. You can't put someones name on a bill that had nothing to donwith it in the first place. Aa
No further contact by the busi I would like my name off the bill, and a formal apology. I'd like the therapist to lose her license to practice.
The mother brought the son into therapy to work on struggles he was having ***. She submitted the insurance for the child which was held by the father, Mr.. It is the mother's responsibility to let the father know of the appointments since she brought the child in and did not sign a release of information for me to contact him. Therapy was not for the mother, her husband and the child. Mr. is mistaken on that aspect of things. Therapy was only for the child and then some sessions with the mom and the child together to help him in processing this when at home. This can be seen on the billing statement. The mother's husband/boyfriend never attended. The mother is responsible for the bill but the father's information is on there too as it is his insurance as he carries it for the son. Due to it being his insurance if the mother does not pay then the bill will also go to him. No fraud in changing the bill occurred and has continued to stay the same in my billing system. Mr. has attempted to call me once which was over 2 years ago as I told him the reason his name was on there and that he needed to speak with the mother as it is between them. Mr. lawyer also contacted me once and I explained it the bill to him in regards to his name on the insurance and that it was between him and the mother and the lawyer agreed and stated he would talk to his client. I have not heard from Mr. of the lawyer since to get a resolution for this matter. I have also not heard from the mother as I continue to send bills to her also. This is a matter between Mr. and the child's mother not my business. It is a court matter between them in relation to their custody agreement. I was doing my job in relation to seeing the child for therapy. The reason it is being reported on his credit report is because he is the father and is partially responsible for the bill. This is not due to me, but do to subjects of the law. If he has a issue what that he is able to contact the credit reporting agency and tell them the situation. I have spoken to the credit service about this.
