Complaint: [redacted] Mr***, We reject your response and this will be our last response through the Revdex.com Complaint process to you.We are once again asking for a full refund for the work completed on our floors and compensation for the damage to our base boards, walls and doors As previously stated, the damage to our floors is beyond repair The trowel marks cannot be correct without pouring more concrete on top to smooth A urethane coat will only smooth the texture, not correct the visual problem Then there are the two large error marks that you stated could not be corrected due to a bad reaction to the first product used You apologized for that and stated that you were going to be contacting the manufacturer of that product (I assume for a refund) and were not going to be purchasing that product again The flooring is chipping off everywhere exposing white chalky cement beneath Correcting this issue with the marker provided by you from [redacted] is out of the question We should not have had to deal with this problem within the first month of having our floors completed In all of the responses that we have received from you about the issues, you still have not commented on the base boards, walls, and doors They are so damaged that they will need to be sanded and repainted We have had to live with them this way because you will not give us our money back so that we can get them fixed and get new floors When you came to the house to discuss this prior to the Revdex.com being contacted, you admitted fault You tried to blame it on circumstance and being rushed – after it took you weeks to complete and you originally stated it would take a week – but the bottom line is that the product that we received and the job you complete are terrible This could have been resolved before we began the Revdex.com process, but you chose not to respond to our email or the certified letter that we sent and you signed We have to live with this daily and feel that your responses are just another way to stall the refund and compensation process We have been grossly taken advantage of and are asking for a refund and compensation for damages Regards, [redacted]

Dear ***, I addressed your original complaint in person At that time with your Husband *** present I immediately colored the chips with a marker from *** ***You both responded with an awe I also for the first time mentioned the new floor needed more sealant but acknowledging a no
need for maintenance I suggested a Urethane Sealant that doesn't require waxing I told you I would order it and you and your Husband seemed to be in agreement A few weeks later I called your Husband with questions regarding health benefit questions for the care of my Wife I also told him the Urethane Sealant was in stock , "just let me know when would be a good time to apply I never was given a response until an email arrived in June I responded to that email saying again the Urethane Sealant was in stock , let me know when would be a good time to apply Now I am responding today with the fourth reply The Urethane Sealant is in stock and we will more than happy to apply with no charge .*** ***

I have never had a customer refuse to let me correct issues Ever I'm willing to do a sample.*** ***

On 8/25/I received a letter from the Revdex.com stating this complaint had been closed un resolved However another response has surfacedI am now confused because this latest response is the same as the last with a few different embellishments and more words put into my mouth My response is still the same and I'm willing to correct the customers issues . I am now sensing I am being harassed and I hope the Revdex.com doesn't condone this activity .*** ***

Complaint: [redacted]Mr. [redacted], We reject your response and this will be our last response through the Revdex.com Complaint process to you.We are once again asking for a full refund for the work completed on our floors and compensation for the damage to our base boards, walls and doors.  As previously stated, the damage to our floors is beyond repair.  The trowel marks cannot be correct without pouring more concrete on top to smooth.  A urethane coat will only smooth the texture, not correct the visual problem.  Then there are the two large error marks that you stated could not be corrected due to a bad reaction to the first product used.  You apologized for that and stated that you were going to be contacting the manufacturer of that product (I assume for a refund) and were not going to be purchasing that product again.  The flooring is chipping off everywhere exposing white chalky cement beneath.  Correcting this issue with the marker provided by you from [redacted] is out of the question.  We should not have had to deal with this problem within the first month of having our floors completed.  In all of the responses that we have received from you about the issues, you still have not commented on the base boards, walls, and doors.  They are so damaged that they will need to be sanded and repainted.  We have had to live with them this way because you will not give us our money back so that we can get them fixed and get new floors.  When you came to the house to discuss this prior to the Revdex.com being contacted, you admitted fault.  You tried to blame it on circumstance and being rushed – after it took you 3 weeks to complete and you originally stated it would take a week – but the bottom line is that the product that we received and the job you complete are terrible.  This could have been resolved before we began the Revdex.com process, but you chose not to respond to our email or the certified letter that we sent and you signed.  We have to live with this daily and feel that your responses are just another way to stall the refund and compensation process.   We have been grossly taken advantage of and are asking for a refund and compensation for damages.   Regards,

I am rejecting this response because:**. [redacted], At no time have we been in awe of the work completed.  The finished product that we are stuck withis not acceptable.  If you were to gothrough with the urethane coating, it would just result in the floors notchipping anymore, being a little smoother in texture and they would have ashine.  I assure you that a shine is notwhat we are after.  We deserve to have nicelooking, usable floors that we paid for. The cement overlay was never smoothed properly and there are visibleridges (trowel marks) all throughout our home. I did not even mention in the previous grievance, but there are also thetwo large “stains” in the dining room where the first product that you tried touse had a bad reaction – there is no fixing that.  A urethane coating will only make theseproblems more permanent.  In the responseyou did not even mention the baseboards and doors that are ruined withstain.  This is going to cost us aconsiderable amount of money to have fixed. Again, it is not acceptable for this to go unrepaired. In your response to the first message through the BetterBusiness Bureau we agree that there was an in person meeting – this is when youfirst addressed and you agreed that there were definite problems with the workthat you completed and that the baseboards and doors should not have beensprayed with stain.  You agreed that thebaseboards and doors needed to be repainted and were going to look into gettingthem corrected.  After several weeks withoutan update about when you were going to remedy the errors, we sent an emailasking for a refund and received no response; this resulted in a certifiedletter being sent.  We received thereturn receipt from the certified letter with your signature on it and still receivedno response to the request for a refund. It was not until we submitted this formal complaint to the BetterBusiness Bureau that you gave a response. We originally contracted you to complete the floors prior tomoving into our newly purchased home.  Atthe time, there was nothing in the home so there was open access to allrooms.  Now we are moved in and will haveto move everything off of the floors and be present when we completely replacethe floors that we just purchased a few months ago.  This is costing us above and beyond what weare asking for in time spent trying to get fair compensation.  It is going to take us countless hours inlabor for moving things back out, and cost us time away from work to be herewhen we get new floors installed. Again, we are requesting a full refund for the floors andcompensation to correct the damage caused to all of the downstairs baseboardsand doors.  Please let us know when wecan expect a check so that we can begin the repairs to our home.  Thank you, [redacted] and [redacted]
