Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The damage to the wood under the skylight and the antennawas not noted when they did the repair in July, Had they previously repaired it as stated they would have seenthe damaged wood This lead to moredamage, not to mention the carpet being stained by the leakingGranted, we had not replaced the caulking on the back windowbecause it had NEVER leaked We wereadvised by Oregon West the first time we took it in ((October, 2013) that it needed a newseal So we had them fix it and NOWit leaks The loss of the feather bed andfeather pillows was not a cheap fix to replace these items, not to mention theinconvenience when family was coming for Christmas We are now having the roof replaced by anothercompany who has not had any complaints with the Revdex.com We would like the initial payment to Oregon West RV returnedto us so can apply it to the new roof Inas much as they had tries to get it right, and did not suggest we get a newroof until they were unable to take care of the leaking, we feel they shouldnot have the benefit of the $funds paid by us If Oregon West RV was unable to fix this the first time they hadthe trailer in July, 2014, we should have been informed If it was as bad as is being suggested theyshould have known and saved a both a lot of frustration Sincerely, [redacted]

The complainant did bring theirtrailer into the shop, complaining about an unsatisfactory service and we didnot hesitate in rectifying the situation, going above and beyond, alsoinstalling there faucet for them at no cost to themmonths later we receiveda phone call saying it was having a leak issue and we took care of that forthem as well at no extra costmonths later with no leaks [redacted] was upsetthat we had documented that we recommended a new roofSince the roof was inpoor condition not on the seams but the roof in its entiretyThis seemed morethan an appropriate recommendation due to the trailer being years oldNoted by the complainant the trailer owner had not even had one particularwindow sealed in years Trailers require biannual service and in inclementweather conditions vary by location and RV lifestyle As noted by us onfirst visit that the roofs epm was wearing thin creating a sandpaper like feel.This makes it hard for sealant to adhere to The complainant is upsetbecause we did not tell them they needed a new roof years ago, as they ageand see wear and tear then do we deem appropriate to adviceThe initialservice that we completed was an attempt to stop leaking problemsAs the roofcontinued to age, our recommendation to replace the roof was the finalprogression in the roof of an year old RV
